Here's my biggie idea!  If you will create this I will keep bringing up more such ideas!  I have a program in the works which incorporates tons of new and exciting features - it's called MyValet.  I've been working on it for years!  Watch for it!  (Sadly it's created for Apple IOS now). Here's my absolute worst night mare fixer:  Every day I get hundreds of garbage ("F me!)  emails - many are multiple-cated each day!!!   I'd like to see a "Black Hole" button where I can "Drag and Drop" an email and NEVER see it again!!!!  Simple, easy, and effective!  I'm sure if this was available EVERYONE would start using your email programs!!!  Forget all the spam filters out there - this is so simple!  Everyone would love you for it!  Please!   ... When I decide to save an image from the web, I right click and chose save image as.  The dialog which opens has a VERY tiny name field.  Precious few existing names ever fit in the field. And, when I select the text to rename the file, quite often all text gets selected, including the extension.  Since I could not see the extension because the field is so small, I have no idea what it is.  I have to manually highlight and delete the file name first, then key in the new one. Changes to how file downloads are handled in Firefox version 98 is a breaking change. Before this, FF understood that there are 2 different reasons why a file might be downloaded: Because the User explicitly wants to save a file for later reference - these files were saved to a directory chosen by the User in Settings Because the System needs to save a file e.g. in order to invoke an external handler such as a PDF viewer - these files were saved to a TEMP directory, and not controlled by Settings Now under v98 both types of files are saved to the same location - e.g. my Desktop. Since the default text size on all my phones and tablets is almost always ignored, I want the text size, colours to be MINE, not that of someone else!!   I see all kinds of methods to zoom areas , etc - when a simple button would do the trick.  And colours?  Pink on white anyone?  White on puke green?  Really?  ... This request is a must in my opinion.  Most websites I visit have a mix of text and graphics.  I would love to see an option that displays only the text parts.  Let's say I want to copy the text of a recipe to a single page of text so I can display on a tablet and don't need to have all that useless stuff intermingled.   And, in the past (more so), this would have been wonderful when reading some text then have it disappear when something above got loaded, and again when something else got loaded.  Out here in the boonies with slow internet this was the norm.  Also great if you want to print text-only! ... Sincerely I don't like new features of new download v.98 that save every files (now it's more like Chrome) and alway open download I don't want to come back but could be useful: 1 have an option to choose if automatically bring up the Downloads panel or not 2 have an option into "Action" to choose to open with defautl app without save file 3 have an option to enable question "only open or save file?" ... I suggest adding a feature in which we can exclude certain addons from syncing. For example, I have 2 laptops: One running KDE Neon, one running Windows 10. The Firefox on KDE Neon has the "Plasma Integration" add-on, which is totally useless on Windows 10. Therefore, it shouldn't be synced among my computers.   ... View more

Previous versions of Firefox defaulted to allow a temp copy of a file (e.g. an excel SS) to be saved and opened instead of manually finding a location. Can this feature be turned on in the current Firefox release?   Thanks Craig ... View more

As a developer, I open a lot of tabs but after 15 minutes its hard to know how they are organized together - and what page a tab came from. I want to see a tree showing tabs linked to their "parent" tabs - the pages where I clicked the link to that tab. Maybe just a middle click on the tab and it expands to show the tabs in tree-view? ... View more

I run into occasions where it is desired by a client to receive a fax rather than an email. Text only would be fine. Hello all, Back in the days of Internet Explorer there was a nifty little feature where you could "Send Link to the Desktop" under the file menu. It included the website favicon with it. That was great for many of us who like to keep our favorite links immediately in front of us right on the Windows desktop. It helps the workflow a lot.  Also, then in Chrome, you could just drag the URL straight off the search bar and drop it on your Windows desktop. I, of course, organize my links in relevant named folders. Friends and co-workers have adopted that desktop organizational style. Unfortunately Firefox has none of that. Like if you want a URL you're at in Firefox saved to your desktop, you have to trudge through the copy and paste labor of creating a new shortcut. You know how that is. I know Firefox has all your favorites either on the home page or the bookmarks structure, on and on... So has anyone in Mozilla thought of any of this?? ... View more

On Desktop, many extensions have optional permissions that are not enabled by default but provide additional functionality. For example, SponsorBlock by default can only access data for YouTube and SponsorBlock domains, which is the minimal amount required to work on YouTube. However, an optional permission to access all web data allows functionality on third party frontends like Invidious. On Android, it is impossible to enable such optional permissions, at least through the browser"s GUI (if there's an about:config hack, please tell me. I'm all ears). Thus, extensions like SponsorBlock are soft-locked into default configurations that only work on the official YouTube domain. Hello Mozilla, Please bring the ability to completely sync theme and Toolbar across devices in the future! I'm tired of having re-organized everything once I installed Firefox on a new PC. Every time I install Firefox on a new PC, the theme is gone, and my Toolbar layout reverted back to the. I've installed one of the limited "Colorways" themes on my main PC, but it can't be synced to my newly bought computer. And having to re-organize every customization I did to my Firefox on my main computer on the new PC is just exhausting. I just ended up using Chrome on my new PC. You know, BECAUSE IT SYNCED MY THEME AND LAYOUT? So please, I beseech you. Include complete synchronization of theme and Toolbar layout on any devices following my Firefox account.
