When opening a link from a pinned tab (e.g., middle-click or right-click > Open in new tab), Firefox opens the new tab at the far right of the tab strip and automatically scrolls the tab bar to reveal the new tab. I wonder if it would be a difficult thing to add folder names to the searchable material within a user's Firefox bookmarks?  It could potentially reduce the time required when trying to find a page that has a name or location you can't remember, and in some cases it may be the only way to locate it at all.  Moreover, it's hard to imagine a very important reason for not including it. Perhaps some users would feel that the addition of folder names to the list of results from a search would add annoying clutter and length to the list.  If that is true, then making the inclusion an optional feature for indexing and search preferences would keep the change from becoming cumbersome for them. ... Recently when I've been sorting through my bookmarks, I notice that a number of sites I saved a while ago are defunct or worse, the URL has been taken over by a spam website. It would be nice if Firefox integrated a column that would notify me of the bookmarks status, e.g. a) the site seems good b) the site is dead or c) if the site is potentially unsafe.  I see that others have suggested automatically deleting broken bookmarks, but I would personally find this confusing. I might not remember if I had saved the site or not, and I might keep searching for it, not knowing the bookmark was deleted. I would simply like to have more information so I can decide myself what action to take.  ... View more

The "Reader view" and "Read aloud" functions are great, given my poor eyesight. One thing that I find really bothersome is that, after clicking on the headphone icon, the little "Read aloud" dialog box cannot be minimized or moved out of the way and so obscures the text I would like to see. ... It’d be cool if Night Mode on iOS could be configured to *follow* the system/device theme. that way, when a user’s device shifts to dark mode, Firefox would follow that accordingly and display all webpages in dark mode without the user having to manually turn on (or off) Night Mode. The Sources tab is a feature in chrome based browsers similar to the debugger tab, but it displays everything in the entire page; not just js but images, html, css, sounds, ect. I would like to be able to use this in Firefox as well. It's incredibly handy for when you need to find a specific file in a site that can't just be found with the Inspector, and I hate having to switch over to Chrome to do this.   ... View more

Thunderbird Desktop has a "Link Mismatch Detected" feature on desktop, allowing users to bypass tracking links and go straight to the destination they actually want. Almost all news articles have a date next to author name under their title. Reader view displays title, author, but no date, which is pretty important to check. Would be nice to have it displayed next to author name or website domain at the top. ... View more

hi, Search history, meaning the URL address bar's history is a comfortable and good feature, however, form history is an other thing. Why not separate these two? Everybody would like, I'm certain of that :), to have their form history unsaved, while search bar history is always a handy thing to have. It is not easy to find how to switch between card view and table view.  I only know of two ways: 1. The unlabelled button next to the _Quick Filter_ button 2. The top of the _Appearance_ page in _Settings_. I suggest there should be a "Threads Pane" entry on the View menu, with "Card view" and "Table view" options. I like menus and use the menu bar a lot, so I have it permanently shown. I do not like the new position underneath the search box, so I am using a custom `userchrome.css` file to move it to the top: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1422908 Now I have a bulky combination of the menu bar and then the search box. It would be awesome if we could bookmark an entire tab group with drag and drop to the bookmark side bar or bookmark toolbar. The bookmarks could be saved into a folder with the tab name as a folder name, or if no name has been set FF could prompt for one. Already when dragging a tab group to the bookmarks side bar FF indicates the position of dragging in the bookmarks list with a color stripe but does not add the bookmarks when releasing the mouse button. Also, a right click option for bookmarking the tabs when right clicking on the tab group name / color square wouldn't hurt. That could bring about a popup to choose the subfolder where to save the group in a folder with the group name with a text field to edit or enter the fodler name. When I occasionally use Chrome, there is a prominent icon/logo near the upper left area of the window showing at a glance which browser I am using. But Firefox no longer has an identifying icon, as I think it used to; it looks like Edge now. Please add the Firefox logo in the corner of the window so we know at a glance that we are on Firefox!
