Hello, some extensions do not have an icon in the icon bar, they just show up in the context menu, or they just alter a website, without having an icon. They appear as grayed-out in the extension list when the "puzzle" icon is clicked. This gives a false impression of them not being active, or that there is some issue with them. I would like to suggest that it is made clearer to the user WHY they are grayed out, e.g. by adding info in tool tip "This extension is working but does not have an icon. That's why it's grayed out." Or don't gray it out and instead show "NO ICON" or sth like that. I spent an hour traying to "fix" this "problem" that did not exist in the first place... There are also many reports on "grayed out" extentions and how to "fix" this (corruption as a reason etc), resulting in users spending hours to reinstall everything. Please make this more user-friendly and less confusing.

I have changed the colors of text and background but then i wanted to change it back but there wasn't a reset button so i guessed what the colors were and now i keep wondering if i have the right colors. Normally firefox haves by other settings a reset button but not by this.

It would be nice to be able to duplicate contacts in the Thunderbird address book, without exporting/importing the data. I can SAVE or DELETE, but I've never seen a way to duplicate a contact. Sorry if this has been suggested already, or if I am just unaware of a way to do it.

If you have plenty of open Tabs you can simply scroll through them with the mouse wheel, but if you start to sort/rearrange them, during the dragging of one Tab, one can't use the mousewheel to scroll, instead you have to move the mouse to the edge of the currently shown Tabs to scroll through them - which makes control kinda unprecise. I would love to be able to use the mousewheel when rearranging my tabs.

So many times 3rd party apps try to open up tabs in whatever the default browser is on an Android device - it would be great if you were able to add a function that would allow me as the user to block/blacklist those sites as they pop up so that they are rendered unable to open a tab. This would be another great feature to your consistently stellar app.

I miss a button for "Mozilla always on top" or "Tap always on top". I'm a trader and have a screen that is upright. In the background is the window with the current trade, in the foreground is a window with news, if I briefly go to the background, the foreground window disappears. This is annoying because you have to turn it on again and again.

Hello. I had an idea that would be quite useful to me. Sometimes I like the "new tab" behavior just as it is with links to previously opened pages. Other times I would like the new tab to be identical to my "home page". My idea is to have the new tab icon to have both behaviors user selectable. One half working just as it does now and the other half opening a new home page. Just like this mock up I made!

I often find myself needing to reposition my Thunderbird window so I can read it and another window at the same time. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be an obvious place on the titlebar that's safe to click and drag. Instead I have to carefully hover my mouse around in the titlebar trying to find a spot that's not a button/action. The existing alternative is to disable the "Hide system window titlebar" in the Language and appearance settings, but that results is a fair amount of wasted screen space. So, my suggestion is to add some kind of obvious non-active object to the title bar that can be used as a move handle. This seems like it should be easy to implement. The bigger 'design' issue would be what image or text to use. 'ThunderBird', or its icon would be the obvious choices. Note: I see two other similar existing 'ideas' that relate to moving the window, but both seem to suggest using the 'View' tab as the handle. Unfortunately, I don't see a 'View' tab in my version of thunderbird (Windows/Supernova - 115.1.1) or I'd have just voted for one of these. firefox-view-tab-move-window-by-click-and-drag (Feb 2023) firefox-view-button-should-be-a-drag-handle (June 2023)

I am a big fan of the mute tab function when clicking a tab icon. A great added feature would be to have a small volume slider bar pop up on hold mouse function to adjust the volume on each tab. Option to save or reset values on reopening. Keep up the great work

Hello brilliant minds of Firefox! I always run out of space on my bookmarks toolbar. Please create one that works like James Bond's licence plate: Can you create a bookmarks toolbar that can be rotated out for another set of bookmarks? So say Bookmarks Toolbar 1 is chockers with bookmarks from edge to edge - click on a handy little icon in the toolbar and - presto! Toolbar nr 2 rolls up. Very combinable with containers and themed: bookmarks for work, for school, bookmarks that are only allowed as a treat, time-locked... maybe that's taking it too far. But you get me, capsich? Cheerio!

Hello! How about password protecting the entire user profile? Including fingerprint reader (unfortunately this function has been officially deactivated). Then you would first have to enter a password when starting FF, or scan your fingerprint. Greetings, Rene

Starting around Firefox 107/108, I started noticing that Firefox was suggesting usernames to me when attempting to enter website credentials. In the "Privacy & Security" section of settings, I have all "Logins and Passwords" saving and autofill turned off. I have all "Forms and Autofill" turned off. So to have Firefox start offering suggestions for login usernames was surprising. Checking "Saved Logins..." - I have no saved login credentials in Firefox. Again, very odd that Firefox is suggesting login usernames to me. I ended up turning off Syncing of my data across devices. I refreshed the Firefox browser on several devices. I eventually deleted my profile on several devices. Deleting profiles temporarily resolved the issue... until I started logging into some of my regular websites again. I eventually found that Firefox is storing usernames as "form History" - this itself does not seem correct, but that may be something to do with how individual websites are coded. Either way, now that I knew how it was saving these logins, I went to find out how to turn it off. I found this: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/control-whether-firefox-automatically-fills-forms The setting I need to turn off is "Remember search and form history". I don't like this. I want to keep my search history - I reference it nearly every day. I do not want Firefox saving, suggesting, or auto-filling forms or my login credentials. I consider this something completely separate from my search history. I think the "Remember search" history should be separate from the "Remember form" history.
