Some websites do not serve a favicon, or Firefox seems to not pull one (not sure which). Regardless, when without a favicon, Firefox should use a placeholder icon to keep tab bar consistency. When a tab doesn't have a favicon, it makes it a bit more difficult to find when searching along the tab bar, and makes it more difficult to delineate where the tabs are separated. Since Firefox already has a "globe" icon used in the bookmarks manager, I would think it would be easy to use that to indicate a webpage. AFAIK, Firefox is the only browser that doesn't do this. On Android, when selecting a previously open tab, it's unclear whether the tab is loading a fresh copy of the page (refreshing), or just loading from its previously saved state This is because the behavior looks the same, eg it takes time to load, and shows the loading bar. There are apps / websites (e.g. in banking) that use one-time-passwords (i.e. different every time), but require the same username. Also, many times this username is a "random" combination of letters and/or digits, so hard to remember. Currently it is not possible to make Firefox remember the username without a non-empty password. I currently use Thunderbird Calendar to manage Club activities. Therefor I need a fast way to get an Overview about planed activities. Please add a possibility to print a Year calendar. (In fact I do not propose to stick on a printout for 365 days.) Please add a Printout which organize selected Months in a Table. Where Months and day of months are elements of X and Y axis. My idea is: Make Firefox users able to hide their password so password information won't show or apply when you try to login somewhere where you have saved password info, but Firefox will still have saved your password information. Good for example when you want better security but still you want to be sure you won't lose access to your account so you will go into Firefox's password manager, you will click on "Hidden" tab and you can show password of some site where you saved your password but you hide it. You will be also able to lock this section by password or something like that. I think that this is good idea. Share your thoughts. I use about:processes and about:performance to identify high CPU tabs. I would like to right click an offending tab and perform functions like Close, Reload, Mute (and most importantly) Discard a tab using the Auto Tab Discard addon. Sometimes one wants to open a few (but not all) bookmarks from a nested bookmark folder. It is tedious to navigate through all of their parent folders several times in a row. It would be nice to be able to hold ctrl/cmd and click on a bookmark from the list, so that the bookmark opens but the popup with bookmarks is not closed. It's getting really tedious as the years go by to keep turning groups of extensions on and off (e.g. all the privacy extensions have to be off or I can't log in to my bank, etc. and as OP notes, there are many more examples).  Doesn't look like there's been any action on this since it was added as a request, and it would be great to get it implemented. Apologies if "New Idea" wasn't the right way to plug for what I want, but Bugzilla doesn't seem to have an upvote capability, and there didn't seem to be an appropriate category here either, so I did the best I could. As I pressed the private switch button at the very top of Firefox android, I realized how powerful it is, to be able to switch to completely different environment isolated from my current environment. It takes away the need for installing multiple browsers. And we can also switch between tabs very quickly. But I really wished if data (tabs and session) can persisted and we can have multiple buttons (maybe 3 or 4) for multiple work spaces (eg. work vs study space). ... View more

What is the possibility of incorporating chatGPT (or other conversational) AI into Mozilla Hubs? Would it be possible / require managing your own Hubs Cloud instance? It would be cool to be able to have non-scripted interactions with NPCs in a hubs world - potentially these could even be trained on data related to your hubs world, to keep conversation contextual to the experience vs. open-ended. There are many addons that try to do this but none work (or requires install of separate software). Therefore, could you please add this feature as a builtin in Firefox? I'm working in a large++ company where MS Edge is required for a lot of stuff. But I daily use FF as my main browser. Therefore, every time I get a corporate email (I read it in OWA), I want to be able to open various links in the email body in Edge. Currently I have to right click on the link, choose "Copy link", open Edge and paste it into the address field. This is quite tiresome. Could you please add a new entry in the right click context menu? There are several ways to solve this... a) [Send to >] When hoovering over, or clicking on this menu entry, you see your own SendTo apps. (see "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo" or in short "shell:sendto") I.e. send the link to whatever app you want, like Edge, Notepad, etc. b) [Open link in <browser>] In the FF settings you can set a default alternative "open link in" browser. In Windows this should default to MS Edge. c) [Open link in...] This opens a window where you can pick an application from a list, or browse to a custom path. It wouldn't be on by default, but a setting (or add-on) that will allow the user to have all passwords displayed as I put them in instead of scrambled and not have to toggle each password.   As complex as passwords are these days, it's hard to be sure you've got them right unless you can see them, and I am alone with a desktop. Having to toggle each one on, when it's impossible for anyone to be looking over my shoulder, is annoying. And I don't want to use a primary password.   I should be able to make this choice.
