The current design of the close button is problematic, as it is too easy to accidentally close a tab when the intended action is to switch to it. The best user experience would be to place the button on the tooltip and have it remain visible so that the close button can be clicked. Microsoft already did the work to make the taskbar better for window management by changing the tooltip to a preview with a close button, this was a major improvement. So, making the change would follow an established UI design pattern and that would be easy for users to understand and use. ... View more

New Feature. I find it to be a pain to go through my cookies every several days deleting one by one that I don't want, and leaving only my data cookies that log me into certain sites that I visit often. I would love Firefox to implement an easy way to keep my favorite cookies and either manually delete all the rest, or allow Firefox (like in a private window) to delete them all upon exit.  One way this might be done would be to have a little box next to each cookie in the "Manage Data" section of the settings that you could click as to whitelist them from an all out delete. It would be nice to open links from a tab in a group outside this group. E.g. I have a group called WhatsApp, in this group I have two web WhatsApp tabs logged (using containers). When I click on a link in one of these WhatsApp tabs a new tab opens inside this group. It would be nice to have a config "browser.tabs.groups.newtab.out" or something like that.
