When i right click mozila in my windows taskbar, there is recent, tasks (new window, new panel, new anon) It would be great if i could be able to create a template webpage list and load it this way. For example: I would create webpage list template labeled "Fun" I would add webpages i want to load when i open this template For example reddit, youtube, mozilla forums, twitch .... After saving the template i could right click the firefox icon a launch template which would open a new window and load all panels with required webpages This template would not override current default new tab/ new window settings, it would only be avalible from menu or right click taskbar icon menu I would add the template configurator section inside Settings>Homepage between new windows/panels and homepage content It would be really helpful when you work with same sets of webpages all the time and instead of opening them one by one, you just launch the template and let firefox load them for you (loading = navigating to them, loading could be a toggle setting if you want to preload them or not) If there is already feature for this please tell me ... It's hard to tell which window is active compared to Chrome's grey background, especially in dark mode. Could you make it more noticeable? A more noticeable color change on the the tab color, a slight border on the active window tabs or a little indicator next to the address bar or on a non-removable icon. If the `mail.biff.show_tray_icon_always` option is enabled, it would be nice if the tray icon would support three cases: - TB is minimized => show TB - TB is not minimized but not focused => TB is brought to front - TB is focused => TB is minimized Currently, the first two options are already done like that, but in the last case clicking the tray icon just does nothing. It would be awesome if in that case TB is minimized to the tray. This way you can for example click on the tray icon, have a quick look on the situation, and right away hide TB again by just clicking again where your mouse already is, if nothing further is to be done right now. ... A calculator is a key functionality which, if added to Firefox, would be amazing. Every time I do a calculation, I have to launch my search engine and search for what I want. I use Firefox nightly to help test drive new features. Naturally, this means that almost every day it prompts me to update to the latest version. Because updating every day would be pretty disruptive to my workflow, I try to make the time to do it every other week or so. Unfortunately, the pop-up prompt contains no information about what version I'm on or what the latest version is. This means that it's very difficult to tell at a glance how out of date I am. If I go to Firefox Nightly -> About Nightly, it will tell me what version I'm using and gives me a Restart to Update Nightly button, which is more helpful but requires me to dig through the menus whenever the update prompt appears. It would be great if the update prompts (both the pop-up and the context menu button you get if you click the menu with the green dot) would tell me what version I'm on and what version is available.   ... I would really like the option to go back to the page using two fingers on the touchpad to be removed or optionally configurable, as it gets in the way a lot on pages that have some kind of lateral scrolling problem. Please can we have an AI assisted text summarizer for articles or Digital Documents we are viewing? For example, if I'm viewing a in-depth article or technical webpage I'd like to right click and see a condensed summarised version of that page with the key aspects, issues, recommendations and opinions etc In simple language while limiting the technical language used. This does not need to be as advanced as a fully integrated AI assistant, but it would be valuable to use those features. This would be the quickest path to bringing this useful feature to Firefox without having to do a major update to Firefox. Regex checkbox in "Find In Page" tool. It would be cool for power users to be able to search text patterns instead of exact matches. It can be limited to EcmaScript implementation and have a warning tooltip about performance, but I think power users will be glad to see that they can search specific patterns on some pages (some codes with variable characters, multiple variations of phrases, different wordings, etc). ... Files with mime type text/markdown should not prompt to download, but display as plain text files. That's more helpful and more consistent with other browsers' behavior. As a stretch goal, Fx could parse and format markdown text, possibly side-by-side with the source. Currently, to open a QR code you have opened on your browser, you have to get another device to scan it and open it. I would suggest a QR code scanner that is built in to Firefox so that you don't have to get your smartphone to scan the code and share the site to your desktop. one way is to continue pressing up in the search bar, takes you to the settings in the bottom right and then through the search engines and then to the Firefox Suggest. Shift+cursor keys just does text selection Pressing alt+(left/right) just switches the search engine but doesn't allow movement outside it. many of the iOS apps I use allow users to choose between custom app icons, usually to change the color to match a look we’re trying to achieve. I would love it if Firefox gave us a few different app icon options, since it takes a prominent place on my phone’s home screen (and likely for many other users, too).  Even just option of choosing from the default, the logo with a white background, and the logo with a pure black background would be great.   ...
