Currently, "Firefox View" looks like, and works like a pinned tab in a horizontal tabbar. However, with a vertical tabbar, while I can add the "Firefox View" button to the address bar, it still works like a tab (e.g. clicking again won't close it) instead of a tool button. You used to be able to "suggest" colors to use, but allow websites to override them. For example, I could have a bright green background set as a preference, but allow the website to override that preference. This allows a developer to determine if they have properly defined all their colors more easily.  I've attached an image of how it used to work: if the site defined colors, Firefox would use them, but if they did not, you would get the user preference (in the case, green and red for bg and fg colors). The new sidebar for tabs is great, but the bookmark bar sometimes shift it. In my case, i have the bookmark toolbar show up only on new tabs and not on others. So whenever i switch from a used tab to an empty tab, the bookmark bar pops up and pushes the tab icons on the sidebar down, which isnt a bug or problem i believe, but it is kind of weird to see. If the bookmark toolbar is shifted to the right, adjacent to the sidebar instead of on top of the sidebar, it might fix it. It would be amazing to declutter the tab bar from the (sometimes many) pinned tab we keep, moving them (and only them) to the sidebar (i.e., making them vertical and icon-only, along with history, bookmarks and other sidebar buttons, and keeping the other tabs in the horizontal top bar). It should be a must have to group tabs with a right klick on the tab (like it's possible in Google Chrome) and  assign the group with a description and a color. The new profiles are really great because they make it easy to manage multiple accounts on social media platforms and to separate all the passwords between private and work-related ones. A wonderful feature in Firefox of some tab extensions like Sideberry is that it lets you set actions for mouse events like double-clicking, long press, to name 2 that are very useful and you could do it on right or left click. When you perform these actions with the mouse on a tab you can map them to some actions like refresh tab, duplicate tab, mute tab, set tab refresh time, etc etc. Again sideberry extension is a good reference for this but it would be amazing for usability of tabs in Firefox to be able to map such mouse actions to tab actions. ... After using the new tab sidebar for a while I have found that the X (close tab) button is annoyingly easy to accidentally click when attempting to switch tabs, especially when a volume button is covering part of the tab icon.
