I have just setup WhatsApp web add-on to Thunderbird, when I noticed that if I tried to enable desktop notifications, it wouldn't work.  So I looked at the GitLab page for the add-on and saw that Thunderbird does not have a prompt to allow Desktop notifications. It states that  there is a setting to automatically allow desktop notifications for everything, meaning that I would get notifications for WhatsApp, but I would get notifications for any other website I visit on Thunderbird, which isn't ideal. I think it would be a good idea to add this prompt into Thunderbird so as to allow add-ons like this to send desktop notifications. ... View more

With Firefox Relay doing email and (soon) doing phone numbers, I think the logical next step for a completely relayed private account creation online is Virtual Credit Cards which are pretty common in the US but pretty hard/impossible to get anywhere else in the world. Having this complete solution is nice but I'll add that I think email/phone number/virtual cards should idealy be purchasable independently because not everyone needs everything at once. ... The ability to edit PDF documents is a welcome development. The disappointing part is that when it comes to the signature you have to actually draw it, and it looks horrible. With Adobe, I use an image of my signature ( from a photo I took years ago) and this image of the signature is dragged to the appropriate place on the form and pasted into place. I tried this pasting procedure using the Firefox editor and it didn't work. Surely this is something that can be made possible in future? ... View more

Previous versions of Firefox defaulted to allow a temp copy of a file (e.g. an excel SS) to be saved and opened instead of manually finding a location. Can this feature be turned on in the current Firefox release?   Thanks Craig ... View more

When I open a site on one computer, I often want to send it over to another to move it to a context where it will be more useful. The send tab to device feature is spectacular for that, but when a tab is open in reader mode it just disappears entirely. At the very least the option should still be there, but ideally sending a tab in reader mode would cause it to open in reader mode in the other device. ... View more

Firefox has this nice little feature where if someone has made the ergonomics mistake of pasting an URL into text without turning it into a link, you can just select the URL yourself and right click, which provides the option to directly open the URL in a new tab, no copy + new tab + paste cycle needed. Thunderbirdhas got a spaces toolbar to quickly switch between different tabs and Vivaldi allows us to put websites in its sidebar. These are very useful features so Firefox should have something like this for Firefox Relay or Mozilla VPN.     ... View more

I miss the option to move to the top of the active website like in Opera. I really wish to have that option in Firefox.  Doesn't matter how many lines I will scroll on the website > one click on the active tab and move to the top of the website. What am I calling a modern context menu? It's a context menu with a first line ribbon made of only icons, then followed by normal text entries. It would be great to have an optional button to show or hide the bookmarks bar . There are optional buttons to open the sidebar and the bookmarks menu, which can be added in the customize section, but both menus are cumbersome to use . The other setting to show bookmarks only on new tabs, well, that is a very silly option, to be frank ...
