When we downloading .rar file the file is downloaded  but it is missing the file extension so it is not opened by any program in windows 10. So i put an extension mark with .zip or .rar and then opened the file with their respective program. New firefox is main problem when downloading PDF files immediately very fast and opened immediately ON THE SAME TAB which is working tab with closing that particular tab and only displayed downloaded pdf on the screen. Hello all, Back in the days of Internet Explorer there was a nifty little feature where you could "Send Link to the Desktop" under the file menu. It included the website favicon with it. That was great for many of us who like to keep our favorite links immediately in front of us right on the Windows desktop. It helps the workflow a lot.  Also, then in Chrome, you could just drag the URL straight off the search bar and drop it on your Windows desktop. I, of course, organize my links in relevant named folders. Friends and co-workers have adopted that desktop organizational style. Unfortunately Firefox has none of that. Like if you want a URL you're at in Firefox saved to your desktop, you have to trudge through the copy and paste labor of creating a new shortcut. You know how that is. I know Firefox has all your favorites either on the home page or the bookmarks structure, on and on... So has anyone in Mozilla thought of any of this?? ... View more

Hello, when you use a main password, it is systematically asked when you open Firefox, even if the current tab does not need it. As we do not consult tabs that need a password at each session, this is an unnecessary constraint, and therefore annoying. I usually only have to exit Full-Screen mode to Check the Time. Maybe build it into flexible spaces in the customize Toolbar section, please. Problem : When multiple video/song streaming app (youtube) or similar apps are in play mode (having sufficient volume up), they produce noise as opened tabs are in play mode. Current implementation :- Videos/songs both gets played irrespective of tabs are in focus or not producing noise. Idea to fix this issue :- 1) Multiple video/song streaming app tabs can be paused if none of them is in focus. 2) If one of multiple video/song streaming app is in focus then other tabs can go for pause which will deliver meaningful content to user from focused video/song streaming tab. 3) As soon as a paused app is focused, it should start playing and other video/song stream app can go for pause. Usecase when there is only one video/song streaming app running in browser :- It does not matter, whether app is in focus or not it should keep playing, for user might be listing to songs. Advanced Settings (about:config) for header & footer margins (top, bottom, left, right, unwriteable twips) are ignored when printing to PDF (i.e. Microsoft Print to Fax, and Kofax Power PDF).  Works fine when printing to physical printers (paper) (i.e. HP Officejet 9025e). I can do a workaround for this problem when dealing with left & right margins by adding spaces to commands (i.e. "________&PT" or "&D________"). However, I have found no setting that will lower headers or raise footers off the very top and bottom edges of the page. I have tried every margin and twips setting I can find. I want it back. You obviously don't wear bifocals. The people that put it there, obviously did. Before you screw with something on a whim, please do your homework. At some point in time, several ( a lot ) people got together and said that it would be nice to put a search bar right in the middle of were their bifocals focus. That eliminates having to keep bouncing our eyes from were the frequently used bar should be, to way up at the top of the page were seldom used, known addresses could go. I absolutely abhor dealing with people that do things , just to justify their existence. Please "check the history" behind things. It would saved so many screw ups. This is not brain science. I currently read a lot of pdfs with many references to previous formulas, definitions and graphs. These references are useful to look back where the formulas or definitions came from and what they looked like. However, if there is a lot of jumping around in the document, it gets very confusing to always scroll back to where you clicked the reference. My request is a feature where hovering over a reference in a pdf pops up a small window with a preview of what you would see when clicking the pdf-internal link. Something similar to visual studio code's peek definition when working with code or on gitter and github when hovering the mouse over an issue. Another easier idea would be a "return" button, like "drawboard pdf" has, where you can jump to a state from before klicking the reference. However I think the peek functionality is far superior and I couldn't find any pdf reader, that implements this. ... View more

The week around 3/15/22 has been full of minor changes which require updates.
