In the Windows EventViewer you can Setup an Task Schedule for specific Events like Disk Error. In this Windows Task you can specify a Batch File with this Entry: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird\thunderbird.exe" -compose to=IT@IT.de,subject=Disk Error,Festplattenfehler Unfortunately ther is no Switch like -send. Appreciate the vertical tabs, and the parent/child tabs in 137. But as the subject states, I'd like the child tabs to be indented just a bit - I generally have 3 or more parent tabs open, each with child tabs, and it's a bit hard to quickly identify the parent tabs as 137 is today. I used to be able to push the top of Firefox browser window above the top of the screen. This is no longer possible - the window keeps snapping back inside the top of the screen. (Sides do not have this behavior - I can push a window sideways off the screen.) When top of the window is at the top of the screen there is a small gap of inert space above the tabs. Moving my cursor to the top of the screen to switch tabs with top snapping inside screen now means I have to add a Y-axis mousing as well. When I was able to push the top of the window just a bit above the top of the screen I only had to push my cursor to the top of the screen, and then I only had to mouse X-axis to select any tab. I'm not good mousing so having the only X-axis mousing to pick tabs was much easier. I want that back. ... View more

Hello, I'm currently using vertical tabs and tab groups features in firefox and am extremely in love with both of them so here are some suggestions to make these more powerful. These are what I assume simple to implement but have very high impact on UX. 1. Multiple tab select: While using tab groups, I often want to select multiple tabs and don't want to use the mouse to do so, for which this suggestion: Keyboard Shortcut to Select multiple, or all Tabs - Enhancement Suggestion would be extremely useful. My recommendation is to also implement Ctrl+shift+alt+home/end to select tabs to the beginning and tabs to the end. This will also allow selecting multiple tabs and close with ctrl+W very quickly. PS. also some missing keyboard shortcuts such as this Tab wrap - ctrl + home or ctrl + end would also be really useful. 2. Keyboard shortcut to group selected tabs: Finally add a keyboard shortcut to group the selected tabs. Currently I'm testing nightly vertical tabs on-hover and I find it clunky to group tabs properly so this not only gives users more options but makes unexpected ff UI behaviors manageable.  ... Hello Firefox Team, I’d like to suggest adding a built-in option in Firefox (Stable version) to easily disable WebRTC through the main Settings menu or via a toggle button. Currently, the only way to disable WebRTC is through about:config by modifying media.peerconnection.enabled, which is not available or accessible in all stable builds, especially on mobile platforms. Given the growing concerns around IP leaks, privacy and user control, it would be very helpful to have a user-friendly way to turn WebRTC off without diving into advanced configuration. This would: Enhance privacy for non-technical users Reduce reliance on third-party extensions Be consistent with Firefox’s strong privacy-focused reputation Thank you for considering this feature! One of the quirkiest properties of Thunderbird  Mailis that it is impossible to check what password you used for your mail account. Once used, there is no possibility to check it. and that is clumsy. My email provider takes the same approach today. If I choose an email password and forget it, I can only request a new password.  Handy,  Euh NOT! In a message list, an email will show 3 chunks of text: sender, subject, and preview. The preview text should appear on its own separate line, for readability and glancability. Currently, it appears on the same line as the subject (I have it set to show sender above subject). I will frequently get emails from the same sender and subject line, meaning the preview lines are the only way to differentiate the emails -- it is tricky to scan through the email list when the preview text potentially appears part way along a line and sometimes part way along the 4th+ line if it has a long subject. It is easy to identify the preview text for an unread message (due to bold sender/subject), but this is not easy with "read" messages. When a message list is empty, it should show a text message and (ideally) an image to signify that the list is deliberately empty. For enhanced security, I'd like to be able to run Firefox in a container. So it and any downloads would be isolated from the OS. If there is a malicious site or download such as a corrupted PDF, the OS would be safe. All I'd need to do is shut down Firefox and then restart it. ... View more

When you popup a tab with the donation suggestion, and the user is already typing an email that they're writing, or something else, it's likely to disrupt them and cause them to annoyedly close the window. Pop it up on boot or nothing. This sort of thing, much like the firefox 'congratulations, you're on a new version' is very confusing to newcomers and computer illiterate types, who I work with. Allow the first (Picking an abstract number.) 10 bookmarks to open and the remainder of bookmarks within the selected folder are in Que to auto open as you close opened bookmarks the next in Que opens up until you have cycled thru the entirety bookmarks folder.
