Please add an  'Open image in new tab'  button to the  'Page Info | Media'  dialog Images on webpages are often shown at a reduced size to better fit the page or window. Viewing them at full size is easy to do through the right-click context menu ('Open image in new tab'), but many website owners disable that.  When that happens, you can still use the  'Page Info | Media'  interface to find the URL of the image. You can copy the URL manually, open a new tab and load the image there - and then you can finally view it at full size.  I'm doing so on an almost daily basis, for instance to have a better look at items on an auction or real estate website. However, when you want to do this with a whole bunch of images, the procedure becomes a little tedious. It would be a great help if the Media tab could offer an 'Open in new tab' button to make things easier and save users a lot of time. Filtering by Domain Names is an important feature that would allow for the screening of emails by individual domains.  I one no longer wishes to receive emails from that specific domain,  it can be added to a block list. As a user, I would like to filter correspondents by domain name.  The domain name can then be added to a block list, once done users from that domain are essentially blocked.  This can be used to eliminate spammers form sending emails.   ... Since this feature hit my browser after an update a while ago, I'm constantly annoyed by it. I've been dragging tabs all the way to the left to rearrange them practically forever, and now suddenly doing this is pinning tabs that I don't want to pin - I'm just trying to rearrange my tabs. Perhaps I'm in the minority here, and that's fine - this feature can be enabled by default; however, an option to disable it altogether (via settings or even an about:config option) would go a long way. This feature greatly disrupts my workflows and has proven to slow me down when I'm in my flow state while developing websites. I need this feature to be toggle-able to continue using Firefox as my daily driver browser. Update 2025-09-29: This feature can now be (mostly) disabled via an about:config option (as of v143.0.3). Setting "browser.tabs.dragDrop.pinInteractionCue.delayMS" to any relatively high value should effectively disable the option. The value is the number of milliseconds before the pin tab option triggers. I set mine to 2000, requiring a full 2s before the feature triggers, which has generally solved the issue for me. Hello Team developpers, I am really found of Firefox. I've been using it for at least 20 years (since the very beginning). Because Firefox is a free web browser. I love the way the tabs can be grouped together; it perfectly suits my way of working. I work with Firefox 144.0.2 on Mac OS 12.7.6. I recently losed all my groups of tabs with an update. And It was impossible to retrieve them. Could you develop the export of tab groups if it is not planned ? Or their synchronization ? It would be very very useful ! Just because I add a tab to a 'tab group' doesn't mean I want to immediately go to that tab group. Please enable us to choose to NOT automatically go to the tab group. NB In settings I have not checked "When you open a link, image or media in a new tab, switch to it immediately". Also, sometimes I want to add 20 adjacent tabs to a tab group and it would be great to be able to highlight and add them all at once! But if that's too hard, please don't make me go to the tab group each time I add a tab to that group because each time I then have to navigate back to the remaining 19 or so tabs in between adding each one to the group and it takes way longer with many more keystrokes to do this when I already have too many tabs open 😅 That said, to quickly reduce the number of tabs I have ‘open’, it would be great if I could right click on a 'tab group' and have the option to: - add that tab group as a new folder in my bookmarks, and/or - add the tab group to a pre-existing folder in my bookmarks Thank you for your consideration. ... For very long email with few pages of screen, currently attachments are placed at the end, you have to scroll few screens to reach them, so it is better to place them at top, or a way to jump to the end. ... View more

I have a small suggestion to make browsing a bit easier on macOS. How about adding support for these shortcuts? Option + ↑ for Page Up Option + ↓ for Page Down These shortcuts align with the native macOS logic and are already supported by Safari, which means many users are accustomed to using them. Utilizing these would really help with navigation, allowing us to move with the arrow keys for small adjustments and then jump a full page using the Option key. Currently, no EAI email addresses (such as äöü@test.local) can be set up in Thunderbird, whether on a desktop or mobile device. Entering punycode is not a solution either, because EAI (SMTPUTF8) means native UTF-8, and there are no intermediate encodings such as punycode for IDN. So the request is to support the setup of EAI email addresses with SMTPUTF8 addresses (So non-ASCII characters BEFORE the @). I'm personally a heavy tab user but have always wondered why there is almost no support for tab grouping or customization in the native tab bar in Firefox. I think making it able to group like Google Chrome does for example or at least giving more access for extensions and add-ons would significantly improve the UI in that regard. ... View more

As a non-American, I have absolutely no idea if 50 F is going to boil me or freeze me. I similarly don't expect Americans to know whether 100m is a long way away or quite close. Surely the computer could just choose to show us the information in units that we understand, by doing some basic conversion for us? Could Mozilla please work on introducing a cross-browser mechanism for encoding common everyday units, and have those translated automatically by the browser to our preferred units? I.e. the page might encode as  <unit>50 °F</unit>  and because I have my browser set to metric units, I see it as 10 °C. This should work for common, every day units: I do not expect it to deal with all sorts of unusual scientific units, and I do not want it to have perfect conversion accuracy (it should absolutely NOT translate 52 °F to 11.1111111111111111 °C, it should just translate to 11 °C!). Hi! It would be great that the toolbar of the PDF viewer in Firefox were customisable. I would like to be able to decide which features (and their icons) were visible on the bar and which others were collapsed. Instead of shoving so called AI tools in Firefox, I would love a feature that can detect AI content, whether in text or in media (audio, image, video). Right click a text selection, an image or a video and select "Is it AI?". A popup appears and gives an answer. You could also add this feature to Thunderbird. ... View more

It would be really nice if you could open any link you see on your phone in Firefox on another device using the share sheet in IOS or make it accessible via shortcuts so people could implement this or other setups. I know I would find the send tab to device feature much more useful since I usually want to use it when I'm not currently using a browser and I want to save it for later. I feel like it's still a problem to simply set certain pages to launch in "private mode." I keep reading that it requires complex configuration, for example, via the configuration.
