I use a significant number of medical terms during my day. Having to teach Firefox' built-in dictionary is redundant when I have already taught them to my Mac's dictionary. Hello Mozillians, Since several years now, Firefox choose to make "Add Bookmark" window (Ctrl-D) a fixed size. I really like the workflow for the user of clicking on the url bar's star then choose a location in my bookmarks folder to save it. That's the point where the user experience become cumbersome and, after a while, really infuriating especially on desktop. The problem: In most situations I need to click one more time to expand the "location" window. Sometime I doesn't need to, but if it were already expanded it wouldn't bother the user either. One less click in many situations, not a click more in any other situation. Win-win. "location" window is way too small. On desktop I have a large screen but I am forced to, again, click and drag the side bar to painfully look for my bookmark folder. A 7 lines tall window for something like 30 lines tall bookmark folder (without sub-folders expanded). To fix those issues, in "Add Bookmark" menu (Ctrl-D): "Location" drop down menu should be expanded by default. Even if it is not always needed, it doesn't add supplementary click ever. Last used location in "Location" should be remembered. Remove the most used locations shortcuts we have now (or make it optional) in "Location" drop down menu. For me, those are rarely needed. I often need to go in a sub-folder anyway. Make the "Add Bookmark" and more specifically the "location" drop down window resizable and/or larger. This is the most important modification.   On a side note, I did research how to resize this window. I found old posts and issues spanning several years and many subpar solutions about extensions (most doesn't exist anymore) or userChrome.css file to bypass this UI problem. The bookmark keyword feature was available on the old Firefox for Android app, but it was never introduced on the new app. This is a great feature still available for the Desktop version of Firefox and I really miss it on Android. In the past, bookmarks with a keyword would seamlessly sync between the Desktop and Android apps and the keyword would work as expected on both apps. It is apparent from many of the ideas and discussions here that many users are unaware or untrained in basic functionality of the Firefox Browser such as configuring Search Engines, where files are saved, how extensions work, etc. Clearly there is a point where hand-holding will hold back users more that empower them, so I do not recommend limiting or simplifying the current feature-set of Firefox, nor spamming the workflow with needless pop-ups and explanations. Instead, a "Tour" of Firefox should be an easily accessible and promoted option that will guide users through how the browser actually works and how to customize it. The option to use the tour should be presented as early as the first installation of Firefox, with clear instructions on how to access it next time should the user decline from a "First-Install" tour. I'm a regular user of Firefox Focus on Android and enjoy it very much. I also tend to use swipe-style keyboard input on my phone and that automatically adds a space after each word that has been swiped. If I want to go to "reddit.com/r/dataisbeautiful" then the easiest way for me to type this into the URL bar with swiping results in: Reddit. com /r/data is beautiful Due to the automatic space insertion at various places. If the browser could see that this string of characters/words without spaces produces a valid URL then it could suggest that as an entry to click on beneath the URL bar. I think this is small but useful feature. I recognise that there might be complexities that I haven't considered. As it is not specific to Firefox Focus, I'd be happy to see it in Firefox too. I realise also that it is providing special behaviour to cater to people that use swipe input and not everyone uses swipe input but at the same time it doesn't seem crazy to have for people that don't use swipe input but somehow find themselves with an accidental space in there. What I would like to see is the possibility to delete the history of specific containers only for a certain time or always (incl. cookies etc.) like it is with the function "Delete parts of the browsing history". The way the order of the addons can be changed and adjusted is hard to find, not where one would expect it, if it exists at all (I guess it does not). One needs a simple, intuitive way to adjust the order and position of all the addons, which to show and which not and where to put them. What I suggesting is something quite radical.  If Firefox continues to lose market share to the likes of MS Edge and Chrome, the answer is simple.  Change the rendering engine from the current version of Gecko to the current version of Chromium (Blink maybe?) or Webkit (As used by Apple).  Microsoft did it and they are reaping the benefits of such a change,  So, why not Mozilla?   ... Tried to open a Twitter tab from Github today, but did not want to open ... even though I was signed into Firefox, I see that it does not have the same container I set up just for Twitter on my other computer.  Not sure if the lack of container synch and lack of twitter opening are linked, but be good to not have to do set up containers manually. Ladies, Gentlemen, I'd like to see WebHID API support in Firefox, as is already present in some competing browser families. See CanIUse on this. Obviously, the MDN is aware of this API, and even provides documentation thereof. Is there any chance, that this gets implemented anytime soon, maybe as an experimental feature? When fullscreen, it would be useful to be able to chose to only see the rendered area, without the tabs, bookmarks, address bar etc. Safari can do this when "Always show toolbar in full screen" is disabled in the View menu.
