I've been using Thunderbird for several months now and I like it for the most part.  I'd like to see a few more themes, but that wouldn't effect it's functionality. I open my emails in a new tab by double clicking on a message.  Then, as I read one I will either leave it or delete it and advance to the "Next" one.  When I'm done reading all new messages, instead of the tab closing, it goes back to the one I started on and I have to close the tab manually.  I have to determine if that is another new message or the old one I started on. I would prefer that the messages advance as I advance through them and when I read the last one in line, the tab automatically closes and I am on the last one which I just read and didn't delete.  I hope that makes sense. Many websites like youtube, hotstar use the "F" key to turn window to full screen. Since Firefox has a shortcut "F" key to turn on find on page, when we press F key to make window full screen it turns on Find on page instead of making window full screen. Please take necessary steps to solve it. I suggest removing the F key shortcut to use Find on page since there's Ctrl+F shortcut to use Find on page. I was going through my "History" to find links to pages on a specific topic I wanted to share with others but after right clicking the link and selecting the "Open in new tab" option the tab with the history of links disappears. While in the bookmarks sidebar, sometimes I want to jump in to the Manage Bookmarks area to perform more extensive adjustments to the area I'm in. For example, I wanted to select multiple bookmarks and move them in a subfolder -- an impossible task in the sidebar. However, when I use the Bookmarks menu > Manage Bookmarks command, I'm brought to the root level, rather than the area where I was working. As solution, I suggest one or both of the following: Add a Manage Bookmarks command to the context menu shown when right-clicking a bookmark/folder in the Bookmarks sidebar. If you open Desktop Firefox Browser and go to “Manage Your Extensions” (about:addons), you will see there a section “Recommended Extensions” with a list of extensions you can add to your Firefox. Every extension in it has its card with the extension name, its developer name, and other lines. Developer name here is a hyperlink to the extension page on addons.mozilla.org. In this page you also see this extension card, which looks pretty like the previous one. The main difference is that the developer name, which is also a hyperlink here, this time leads to a page where all extensions made by this developer are listed. So we have two hyperlinks which look the same but lead us to the different places. I know this is subjective, but I find it difficult navigating the history tab. It would be cool if the developers could update it into a more modern style. Maybe add a toggle so those who like the current style can of course keep it. It isn't really a big issue thou. Other than that, the move to Firefox has been great. It has come such a long way in the past few years. It does eat a fair amount of ram, but I have enough spare. Browsers are constantly improving, so I can't see this being a thing forever. Hello, since new update of thunderbird mail box it appears that searching mode is really unfriendly, could you please improve it or go back to previous concept for this part of the box? It is really easier to find an email when searching mode is dedicated to one email address or a file and allows to find a name in senders list or a word in emails directly with a filter of concerned emails (a little bit like outlook). I have set up filters for my regular emails which checks the following :- Match all of the following FROM contains (email address) STATUS is Read Perform these actions Copy Message to (Sub-folder on email account) Move Message to (Sub-folder on Local Folders) This works well apart from one thing.  I can be reading a new email and the filter will run and move the email as required. I would like to see an additional option in the Match area to check that the email is in focus or not, to prevent the rule moving the email while it is still being read. ... View more

This feature would produce a pop-up similar to that of webcams and microphones when a website tries to capture keyboard and mouse events, if enabled in Permissions under FireFox Settings. Many websites like to capture keyboard and mouse input, usually for keyboard shortcuts on the page. I find this can sometimes be detrimental to my browsing experience when I'm not expecting a website to be overriding default browser shortcuts. ... View more

Good afternoon, I often scroll through pages using the space bar, but sometimes the browser scrolls a little more than necessary in this way, which is why a small part of the document is skipped or hidden under the navigation header. Or the semantic connection is simply lost and you need to quickly scroll down and return to the previous page. Hi there! I have an idea - there should be a context menu (in RMB click menu) entry, that would invert the current selection. As an example, imagine following string in - let's say - search bar on any page: "nothing seems to be more important" When any part of this sentence is selected - let's assume the word "more" is selected (highlighted) - then this 'invert selection' function, would cause de-selection of currently selected part and selection of all the others characters in such a string - so after using, it would change the selection to "nothing seems to be  important" string, excluding previously selected word "more". Can you add these two features ? - Save all tabs to a text file and let user name it. I'm currently performing a research on real estate in Ontario, I would just click an easily available single button to perform that operation. The only prompt will be : Save As, and I will name it - Save all tabs from site to text file with sitename It will save all tabs specific to a www.site.com to a text file name called $site+$timestamp - Save all tabs from site to a bookmark folder It will save all tabs specific to a www.site.com to a bookmaker folder named $site User must be able to perform all these in one single click, meaning a nice obvious button.
