there are so many times where i delete a bookmark by mistake and can't get it back... just now... i deleted a folder that has so many important bookmarks by mistake and there is no way to get it back or even remember what i have deleted! so please at least add it as an option when enabled, the bookmarks go to trash-bin or archive instead of disappearing forever. ... When searching for a theme on addons.mozilla.org, there is no way to see if a theme is animated or what the animation looks like. There is already a preview of the theme visible, so my suggestion is that the preview shows the animation aswell. It would also be helpful if it was possible to search for animated themes through a category or tag. Hi, I have an improvement suggestion for the console in the developer tools. It essentially concerns a huge block of unused space that I regularly find when debugging applications (see attachment). Making the block with the console output broader and make it use that free space will in my opinion result in a greater DX, since I can see more data at first glance. Thanks for your attention. The Problem: It's tiring to read articles individually on mobiles or laptops. There's almost no good apps with simple reading lists and autoplay function. Google app has one, for instance, but it's not so practical and often crashes. Firefox has all the means to create the best reading list available and thus make the Firefox browser even more unique and useful. The Solution: User browses through news articles using Firefox browser on one of his devices (laptop, mobile, tablet, ...) User sees an interesting news article (or also scientific article or the like). He or she clicks on an add-to-reading list button in the browser menu bar (similar to the add-to-pocket button), or he right clicks (or long tabs) on a link and gets the option add-to-reading list (practical and important, because this way not each news article has to be opened before it can be added to the reading list). User can access the reading list (saved for all devices if she or he is logged in with her or his Firefox account) anytime through a browser menue bar button, the browser menu or the reading mode symbol in the address field. User can start the reading of the articles in the list, set the reading speed, move articles up and down, delete articles out of the list, forward or backward to the next or previous article, etc. The reading aloud of the reading list should also work with the screen off on mobiles, so that you can listen to your collected articles for instance during jogging or cooking. Why not simply use Pocket? Apart from the fact that Pocket doesn't really seem like a part of Firefox, it's not thought especially as a reading list with functions around a reading list (like read all and read aloud). Pocket is usually used to bookmark different things seen on the internet (like a tv show you wanna see tonight), so you can't simply click on "read me all" within Pocket. Also Pocket isn't practical to be used on mobiles, you need a separate app (that doesn't work on many phones, while Firefox browsers works very well, also on older phones like iPhone 6). Most importantly, though, as mentioned the reading list could be a very valuable addition to the basic function of Firefox, appreciated by many users. And as there's no good competition yet, Firefox could make use of the "first-mover-advantage" by offering such a very much needed function as the first browser worldwide. Having a Favorites folder on C Drive with all Firefox Bookmarks as URLs format. This way it is easy to backups all , able to rename many at a glance , classify them and being independent of the browser. That is a feature that IExplorer was having and it was great. Having this feature in Firefox will be great too. By now, I cannot do with Manage Bookmarks even users can have so many details about each bookmarks, I do not really use it. Currently, to open a QR code you have opened on your browser, you have to get another device to scan it and open it. I would suggest a QR code scanner that is built in to Firefox so that you don't have to get your smartphone to scan the code and share the site to your desktop. Just recently switched from Chrome to Firefox, something that annoys me is lack of support for touch screen as I uses surface pro for lighter tasks. Such as swipe right to go back, swipe left to forward. Given the fact that there is a good number of touch screen laptops in the market, this feature should be added. So I'm in Firefox and need to know How I did something so I can document the process and tell others on my team.   But when I sort by date its in alphabetical order not the order I visited the pages.   When I sort by last visit and select a page to see what it is it then moves the page to the top of the list and the list is no longer in the order I searched and actually used the pages.   aRGGGGGHHHHHHHAAAAAHHHHHH bad form. I recall in previous versions of Firefox being able delete history of specific websites with ease both in the address bar itself and in History/Library window. For example, in the address bar, I would input an address of a site I don't want to be suggested or be seen, I mouse or keypad over to it and press Delete and it would remove that particular link. And barring myself going to that particular address again a sufficiently often enough time, it wouldn't get brought back up in recommended addresses when I start typing. Now, for the History/Library window example, I recall being able to search for a site and all other similar pages, select it all and press the Delete key, or spend an extra second to right click and select Delete Page or Forget About This Site buttons. And seeing results for this... Except nowadays, there's no tangible seeming results. It's still in the History/Library window. Delete key doesn't work, the right-click dropbar menu options of Delete Page or Forget About This Site do not work in any form. I tried restarting the browser, restarting the computer itself, it's like a vestigial feature or something. Like viewing images in their own tab, which you also could in the past, but was relegated to 'open in new tab' and had to be fixed for myself by getting an extension specifically to get that button back. Regardless, the Clear Recent History option is probably going to work, if nothing else, but the problem here is, I want granular control of my History back. I want to be able to type something up without seeing same old suggestions or surgically excise a specific site without having to nuke my entire search history. Please add a setting to allow changing the default visibility of the passwords in the logins and passwords page.  I understand why having to use the "show" button is a good idea on computers in public places.  I rarely use mine outside my home, so having this option would speed up my work - especially when cleaning up or changing passwords. I have enabled the "open links in private tab" option in FF for Android. It's nice to have the added layer of privacy, but it means that whenever I click a link in any app, including for example a link from an email, I'm never automatically logged in any site. It would be nice to have a quick option to exit Private Mode and return to normal browsing with the page reloaded with access to all my login cookies, similarly to how the "open in Firefox" option returns you from the simplified web view UI to the full UI. Currently if a link to a page that requires a login is opened into private mode, the only two options are 1) log in manually each time, or 2) copy the URL, tap "open in Firefox", open a new non-private tab, paste the URL and go. My bookmarks folder is overflowing. On my 27" monitor, I see about 14 of them before they overflow. How about if I drag a URL from the address bar onto an existing bookmark and it turn into a folder? First of all this idea is related to PWA which as already 1000 votes: Bring back PWA (progressive web apps) - Mozilla Connect In Google Chrome you can install website as an app with "Create shortcut...", "Open as window". You can do this also in Edge and nowadays they seem to add the website to Apps list of Windows 10/11. This feature has been in Chrome for around 10-15 years? or more but for some reason it seems to not yet be in Firefox.  Although PWA:s are becoming more common there is huge amount of websites out there that are NOT coded as PWA:s but users would still prefer to run them in separate windows and processes with their own icons in taskbar and start menu (and equivalent in MacOS / Linux). Also these apps must be enabled to be run in their own windows without URL, bookmarks, buttons, menus and other unneccessarities near the upper edge. Although PWA trend is really good thing there are tons of websites out there that will never be modified to be PWA:s. Typical examples are local domestic services, non-profit organizations, etc.. that have limited financial resources for modifying their websites. A perfect example is an smaller local email service provider from Finland like a vocational school or university of applied sciences or a small niche teleoperator. It is highly unlikely that they will have funding to develop PWA versions but users need the separare window feature.       Having web apps in their own window is so vital feature that it is impossible to switch to a browser like a Firefox that does not have it. I give an example. I am using GMail web interface (but same applies to any other like ProtonMail). It is so important app that it must be in its own window and have an own icon in taskbar and not just a tab in web browser. As Firefox does not support this I have GMail app window created with Chrome or Edge. If I click any link in GMail window (Chrome) it will open a tab in Chrome and ignore default browser setting of OS (which was Firefox). The same applies to GMail window (Edge). If clicking any url it always opens Edge and ignores default browser setting. This all ends up to chaotic mess where I have half of work in Firefox and half in another browser. Thus I had to stop using Firefox and switch to a browser that supports web app windows.       Please add this feature asap!     ... View more
