Sometimes it is not so easy to identify spam in the inbox. The subject and the sender look OK and only when I click on the mail to open it, I can see the email adress to identify spam. It would be helpfull to see the full sender address when mouse over the sender in the inbox. Please add an easy single button way to disable the JavaScript Just-In-Time Compilation (JIT) like in Chrome or Edge. I like to have this disabled for security reasons to reduce the amount of possible exploits because this is one of the most common ways to exploit your browser. In Chrome or Edge is it relatively easy to do this, however in Firefox, you must change a bunch of stuff in the config menu. For some unknown reason, pinned vertical tabs get stacked horizontally only, packed as tightly as possible within the current side bar width. I can get them stacked vertically by reducing the side bar width, thus reducing all tabs to just the icon. There is plenty of room for a couple dozen tabs in that side bar, and users can decide whether display just the icon or also (a part of) the title/URL. Quite often you come across a page that already has a bookmark, but you want to see it within the bookmark folder hierarchy. At the moment this is quite difficult because you have to search through your bookmarks. The most intuitive way would be an option to locate the bookmark inside its folder. Similar to what you can do when searching bookmarks and opening the context menu, but in this case available directly from the bookmark icon next to the URL. --- BTW, when using FF mobile on Android, new bookmarks are always stored to the folder last used in the desktop version, without an option to change that apparently. Firefox used to have a feature, I think, that prevented the display of images, thumbnails, and video. I would like this because the internet is filled with inappropriate images, especially youtube. The idea is to have just the text displayed and all images and autoplay blocked. The thought is that when a link is clicked on, then its image is displayed. The web is getting to the point that I have to avoid certain sites to avoid seeing these things. The browser that has this feature would be my main browser. The new Google Lens feature in Firefox is nice and something people have wanted for a while. But it only works when there’s already an image on the page. That’s pretty limited. It would be much better if we could use it anywhere on a webpage — like take a quick screenshot or select part of the screen and search that on Google Lens. There’s already an extension that does this called “To Google Lens” (link). It lets you right-click, drag to capture an area, and send it straight to Lens. If Firefox added that same ability natively, it’d make the feature complete. You wouldn’t need extra extensions, and it would feel way smoother and more useful in everyday browsing. ... View more

Thunderbird can move folders to different hierarchies using drag and drop. However, it is not possible to move them within the same hierarchy, i.e. reorder them. The "Manually sort folders" add-on had helped to sort folders, but with Thunderbird 115 (Supernova), it is no longer available. It is time to make it a proper feature. I was involved in the development of the add-on to make it Thunderbird 78 compatible and later as a collaborator. So, as an option, I have considered developing another add-on for Thunderbird 115. This may not be impossible. (John is providing a POC.) But I would like to consider implementing the ability to sort folders properly in Thunderbird.
