Hi, can the Devs add a Setting to select Storage Location of Thunderbird for Android? Is this possible? ... that we can move the Cache and Data to a microSD card instead of the internal memory? I formated my microSD as Internal Storage but if the Packageinstaller set Cache and Data to microSD i have no Internetconnection. Perhaps the Cache and Data Location can be selected anytime from Thunderbird for Android Settings? Best Regards

Please provide options to disable/enable some of the features which might be used by some users but not others, these features unnecessarily occupies space in the menu redesign or shows in addresss bar... For example , I don't use reader mode function but there is no option in the UI to disable Similarly other features are 1 Reader mode 2. Translate 3.Print 4.Save as pdf 5.Passwords (many people might be using 3rd party password manager) So we need global settings in the UI to control these featues

Firefox managed to bring HDR to Macs in 100.0 version. Now it's time for Windows! It'd be awesome to watch and work on HDR images and videos using Firefox in 2022. Windows is the most popular OS, why not bring HDR here too? More monitors and devices running on Windows support HDR, so there is an increase in demand of HDR support in Firefox. The only option for Windows users is either to switch to another browser or to download and use a dedicated app from Microsoft Store.

This suggestion to highlight the Show sidebar on the left most corner of the tab, during when the sidebar is hided or Invincible, just highlight the Show Sidebar button or make it toggle to on and off state, so that user can easily understand that the sidebar can be toggled to make it visible Just make the color more subtle, so it can merge with others

I strongly recommend that you quickly add built-in text-to-speech synthesis to the browser, similar to Microsoft Edge. The quality of text-to-speech available through extensions isn't great – it sounds robotic. In this regard, Microsoft is significantly ahead of you.

Hey, this is low-key minor, but I would want a preview of what tabs I have inside a collapsed group, it would work in similar fashion to how hovering a tab and getting a tiny little window with a capture of the screen already works. But just when I hover the collapsed group, just a line below, like a second bar of tabs, it displays the titles of each tab in that group, if it's a massive group then hover + scroll so that you only see 5-6 at once and can scroll through them. I think this could be nice QoL for those that like to organise but constantly are checking which group something is in. *Specifically for collapsed groups* Also sidenote: I love the tab preview so much, which is why I am suggesting this too because I can't always remember just from the tab title what tab it exactly is and this saves me the pain of jumping around! ❤️

When using vertical tabs, some extensions (such as BitWarden) are shown at the bottom of the sidebar and cannot be hidden. This is despite having BitWarden in my menu bar, for example. Please allow us to hide all of the sidebar extensions in vertical tabs mode.

I'm looking for a way to export my bookmarks as JSON and HTML on Firefox Android. Previously, I used to select them individually and share them in a batch, but that method is no longer working. I recall that there was an extension available for the pre-Proton mobile Firefox that allowed for HTML export. I'd prefer a solution that doesn't require syncing or sharing my bookmarks online. Instead, I'd like to transfer them directly to my computer using a cable. I was trying to find a feedback or suggestion box to share my thoughts, but unfortunately, I didn't find one. I hope that in the future, there will be a more straightforward way to provide feedback and suggestions.

I would like the ability to add multiple chatbots to the sidebar. Currently, there is a drop-down to select a specific chat bots from the AI chatbot tool, but it is all contained in the same sidebar window I want to have custom settings where I can create multiple instances of that tool with various bots available, so I can compare results, so I can see both my current page as well as different bot results

The firefox version for android tablets has a very inaccessible user intreface. The interface should be very similar or identical to the desktop one. The full view of open browser tabs on the toolbar is missing. The interface looks like simply scaled down from the smartphone one: we have an address bar and next to it on the right an icon with a rectangle inside which a number indicating the number of open tabs. This is very inconvenient to use. Tablets usually have screens of 10-11 inches, tablets over 12 inches are becoming more and more popular. So there is enough space to place the tabs normally, as in the desktop version. All competitors like Chrome, Opera, Brave and others have long since introduced such solutions.

Currently, in the Firefox history panel, each history item has a × (delete) icon, allowing users to remove entries individually. However, when performing a search within the history, the × icon does not appear next to the results, making it impossible to delete specific items directly from the search view

Unfortunately, Thunderbird still saves all passwords as plain text, which puts them at risk to anyone who has access to your computer. While there is an option to use a master password, it is not commonly used and does not integrate seamlessly with the operating system you are using.

Once a tab group is made, its mobility is extremely limited. Groups themselves cannot be moved, and we can only move individual tabs from the group's left to the group's right, but not visa versa without adding the tab to the group.

v136 introduced dynamically-expanding tab sizes on tabs with audio. This can be laggy though, as a page loads and the video/audio starts playing, causing misclicks. The tabs will also then shrink back down eventually once the audio's been idle for awhile, which can be visually distracting. There's some kind of thing that can be done with userchrome.css, but this is a workaround that's not viable for most users. This idea has been around for a while but I thought I might throw my recommendation into the mix, as I feel Firefox is one of the only browsers yet to implement such feature. When I say workspaces I mean the ability to switch between "tab bars". For example, one tab bar (workspace) may contain websites about job searching; the tab bar contains tab groups, pinned tabs and the like. Another tab bar (workspace) contains websites about house searching; and also contains tab groups, pinned tabs and so on. There can be a little icon in the top left corner that when clicked shows you a drop-down menu where you can switch between workstations. By persistent I mean that you can save these workstations like bookmarks (maybe you have the choice between having your workspace be temporary or not). But unlike bookmarks they are able to open all your previous tabs, tab groups, pinned tabs, etc instantly. The best we have right now is saving all the tabs in a dedicated bookmark folder and right clicking to open all bookmarks, then redoing all the tab groups and pinned tabs; then to switch you have the close all the tabs and open another folder and repeat the same thing.

Add "Open pinned tabs" checkbox option to the settings under general->startup section. Now it's available only in Config. I don't need to open all my pinned tabs at once and and fill the RAM by default.

Description: When using Firefox vertical tabs with the "expand on hover" feature enabled, selecting a lower tab while the sidebar is collapsed causes the tab list to scroll to the top — especially when pinned tabs are present and the total number of tabs exceeds the vertical screen height. This makes it harder to track which tab is active and breaks the user experience. Steps to Reproduce: Enable Vertical Tabs in Firefox. Enable Expand on Hover feature for the vertical tab sidebar. Pin a few tabs (e.g., 2–3). Open many tabs (more than what fits the vertical screen height). Collapse the sidebar (so only icons are shown). Click a tab located near the bottom of the list. Sidebar scrolls to the top automatically, instead of focusing the clicked tab. Expected Behavior: When a user clicks on a lower tab, the sidebar should auto-scroll or remain focused on that tab — without jumping to the top of the tab list. Actual Behavior: The sidebar scrolls all the way to the top after selecting a lower tab, hiding the selected tab from view. This behavior only occurs when pinned tabs are present and the sidebar is in collapsed mode with hover-expand active.
