You can use hashes to confirm the integrity of inline <script>s by adding them to the Content Security Policy (CSP) header of the page. If the CSP header is used but a script is not allowed, because the hash is missing (or wrong), an error message is shown in the dev tools' console. In Firefox it looks like this: Content-Security-Policy: The page’s settings blocked an inline script (script-src-elem) from being executed because it violates the following directive: "script-src 'self' 'sha256-N0WgDOqcdfL9w1uP613+B2yu6dpc5KPYLXeb9XHepPc=' https://*.googletagmanager.com " It's hard to find out the correct hash for an inline script. The easiest way at the moment is to use Google Chrome, as it has a better error message: Refused to execute inline script because it violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "script-src 'self' 'sha256-N0WgDOqcdfL9w1uP613+B2yu6dpc5KPYLXeb9XHepPc=' https://*.googletagmanager.com ". I like Pocket, but I think it would improve user experience and convenience if all the saved sites were accessible by pressing the pocket button rather than displaying the most recently saved one, this would enhance user experience by making it quick and easy to access saved sites just by pressing the pocket button and finding the saved site they wish to visit, rather then clicking the pocket button and then clicking "View My Saves" and being redirected to the pocket site and then looking for the saved site. I think this idea could really improve pocket and make it quicker and easier for users to access saved sites instantly without being redirected to the pocket site. This can also make pocket more seamless and reduce any extra steps.   Example: In the image below is pocket, it could enhance user experience and convenience if pocket displayed all saved  websites in that pocket box, allowing users to access all their saved websites quickly and easily. It would also make pocket feel more seamless and integrated. You could even add a search box in that pocket box so users can search via tags they add to the website, in case they have a lot of saved websites. Could we please have an action in the context menu of calendar entries which is effectively a shortcut to move the end time of a meeting to the current time? The option should probably always appear, but be grayed out by default. It should only be enabled/clickable in the case that: the start date of the calendar entry is in the past. the user has write-access to the calendar entry. This means the button can be used to: It'll be enabled for current events that are ongoing as far as Thunderbird is concerned. It will move the end time of the event to the current time, ending the meeting early and opening up the time slot. (My use case.) It'll be enabled for past events that have already finished, and it will move the end time of the event to the current time, extending the meeting. (To track overrun meetings.) This isn't a major time saver, but just a minor affordance that makes it more convenient to open up booked time slots if the meeting finished quicker than expected. Search domain/subdomain and multiple select or select all to delete saved logins. We have many saved logins which we dont use any more, for example saved logins from demo websites, or test websites, or manually created usernames/pw from our own websites that we had saved it on firefox and need to clean up saved login. looking forward to seeing this in the next update. ... Right now (129.0.2 back to when Add-on import was introduced) when you import data from another browser, you're presented with a checkbox to either import Add-ons or not.  If you choose to import them, the only "option" you're given is to finish importing without even knowing what is being added. I feel like it would be a good idea to at least present a list of Add-ons to be imported, and better, offer a Cancel option, and best, offer Checkboxes for each one, pre-checked, with Select All and Deselect All options. ... To have easy and quick access to view and browse my bookmarks via a home screen widget would be the icing on the cake. Personally I really miss this (having migrated from Chrome which includes a widget), and couldn't believe this wasn't already a standard feature. A really great feature, that would set Thunderbird and K9Mail (Thunderbird for Android) apart from all other mail clients: The ability to sync contacts and calendar on multiple devices without any external service provider ("cloud"), without using any internet connection, just on the local network, when both devices are in the same LAN (WiFi) for maximum data protection. I would image it like this: The user can open a dialog/page with known devices for synchronization. The user is able to search for other Thunderbird installations in the same network and will get a list of devices and can add them by clicking on it. Both devices will exchange keys and will both display for example the same 6-digit code, the user can compare these codes and them click accept on both devices. The keys will be stored in both installations and the devices now know each other. The user can now configure what should be synchronized in which direction with each device. Synchronization will be performed (if possible) when data that is synchronized is updated. If the other device is not accessible it will be checked periodically. How I image it on a technical level: Thunderbird will open a IP port for receiving messages. Each installation/profile will generate a public/private key pair. To init a connection/search for devices a broadcast message will be sent containing the hash of the own public key and either the hash of the other devices public key or a search for all devices. Other devices will answer with the hash of their public key. The data transfer is then done directly to the then known IP address. This way changing IP addresses are not an issue (the user doesn't even have to know what IP addresses are), all devices are equal (no server/client differentiation in Installations) and it is completely OS-independent. I use Thunderbird since version 0.5 (that was Februar 2004, just checked my outgoing mails) and I love it has been a reliable piece of software ever since. I also use K9Mail since I got a smartphone. I will attach some screenshots. In Thunderbird, Settings > Appearance > Message List > View Style: Table view, one of the default criteria that is displayed is the message subject. The Subject header has padding in front of it, so that if you shrink your message list you end up with |        S...| as a subject header. The subjects of the actual messages align to this header as well, and you have the same result. If you increase the width of the message list, the "Subject" appears more centered, but the subject in the messages (which is usually longer than "Subject" is still padded at the front, and you can't see as much of the subject as you ought to be able to. maybe a trivial one, but closing the entire browser is via the X in the top right corner, and pressing x on one last tab should not close the entire browser without any prompt. Many times I accidentally closed the entire browser when I wanted to add a new tab and accidentally moved quickly the mouse a bit next to "+".  This is especially troublesome when the history is set to clear when closing firefox. Maybe when closing one last tab, a prompt like: "U're closing the last tab"  or:  "do you want to close the browser" would be useful? ... View more

Why doesn't Firefox offer Google account sync like Microsoft Edge? With Edge now supporting Google account sync, users can effortlessly include passwords, browsing history, and all data. However, it's disappointing that Firefox lacks this feature. Hello, Currently the bookmarks bar in Firefox have more space on the top than the bottom. It is like that since a long time, so I assume this is something the FF devs and most users prefer. However, coming from a different browser, it doesn't look good. So, if possible, can the developer team provide an option in Firefox itself to change the padding on both sides. I am aware that we can do this using CSS, but it makes browser startup a tiny bit slow. So, an option by default would be great. I would like to have a trash basket for bookmarks. Working with thousands of bookmarks for serveral users sometimes it happens that I delet single bookmarks or bookmarks folders.
