Firefox desktop has the functionality to have extensions pinned to toolbar for easy access on tabs and homepage. A similar functionality can be implemented in the android version. With the current Firefox android version, there already is an option to add a button to tab bar. Given the limited space on the bar, the choice of extension can be limited to one. Moreover, one needs to open a webpage to change extension value. It would be better if it can be managed/toggled through the homepage through the tab bar button. I think it would be beneficial for Firefox mobile users, designers and the funding of Mozilla to have a user-created UI design store for Firefox mobile. This means: Users get awesome appearances for their browser (styles, accessibility, fandoms, seasons, ...) Designers can sell their UI design for Firefox mobile Mozilla gets a fair share from the revenue The fair share percentage could be found through a poll on Mozilla Connect. I guess many people would love this personalization of their browsing experience on their phone as they love their ring tones and phone covers. For example, there could be many extraordinary designs for the navigation bar. I guess this would be motivational for many people to contribute. If the "Bookmarks Toolbar" is toggled on, it is being toggled off when switched to full-screen. This behavior is disabling the user from utilizing the bookmarks from the "Bookmarks Toolbar" when a mouse is used to unhide the hidden containers in the full-screen mode. The AI in sidebar looks good, but it would be really awesome if you add a shortcut for more usability. Clicking by mouse every time to open chat is very uncomfortable and takes long time! Hi! It would be great that the toolbar of the PDF viewer in Firefox were customisable. I would like to be able to decide which features (and their icons) were visible on the bar and which others were collapsed. When using the the chat especially when on either of my laptops. I think it would be useful to be able to minimize/hide the chat but not have it completely close so you can stay in the same session. In my head I see it working by adding a simple minimize button next to the close button. When it minimizes, the icon for the chat can stay highlighted to alert that it is still active. Also, when switching from chat to other options like bookmarks, history or tabs. If there is a current chat open it should use the minimize behavior so the same chat is still active when you navigate back. I just got the update that redesigns the address toolbar on Android. 'Home' is replaced with 'new tab' and the 'more' menu is much more comfortable. We also have an 'expanded' toolbar option, which I really like. I like these changes. Having to pivot to the home or tabs screen to start a new tab was really cumbersome. But now I feel like we really missed out on something for the expanded toolbar: a 'close tab' button. We have 'bookmark' and 'share', but no close! I think most people close their tabs a lot more often than they bookmark or share them. 'Share' should be replaced with 'close'. Share has its place in the 'more' menu, and it's equally trivial to copy the contents of the address bar. No matter what, sharing is always a multi-click affair. Closing the tab is the action that really deserves a one-click button. It's a one-and-done action. Having this button will make it easier to keep our tab lists clean. Additionally, being able to quickly leave a site is really good for digital wellbeing. The most robust solution would be to make those buttons customizable like on desktop. For instance, I'd also really like a close button on the simple toolbar. But I'd be content with just replacing toolbar share with close. 'Close' would be the furthest-left button to be consistent with the temporary browser (and it's just the most natural spot for it), bookmark would get bumped to the right. ... View more

Hi, I've been using your new Japanese translation feature a lot lately. It's a great, great feature, congratulations on developing this. But, It's annoying that I have to confirm the popup every time I want to enable translation. I don't know why. I mainly translate from one language to my own. The "automatically translate" feature doesn't work for me either; I need to see the original text first. I just need an "on/off" button in the address bar or a shortcut. That's all. Just like how we used to be able to select "compact." I understand that more and more people are using vertically oriented devices like phones and tablets, but there is still a huge market share of users on desktop devices, and with the market saturated by widescreen displays, taking up vertical space while having 4 inches of white space on the left and right side of practically every website makes no sense. Firefox’s current customization options for toolbars and the vertical tab sidebar are fragmented. Users must navigate separate menus (gear icon) to customize the sidebar , and there’s no intuitive way to move icons or tabs between from the (vertical) side bar to the main horizontal toolbar . Add option to remove the home button (🏠) from the menu bar add functionality to the menu bar (e.g. browser add on menu, history, close browser, specific addon (e.g. screen reader), ...) Hello, I have a suggestion: I created a couple of tab groups in Firefox so I can access them more easily whenever I want to work on something specific. However, to open them I have to go into my history and look for the last time I opened each group. (I’m not sure if there’s another way to keep them handy.) It would be very useful if I could place the tab groups in the bookmarks toolbar so I could open them with a single click. (Chrome already works this way and it’s really convenient for me.) It'd be helpful to have a new tab button next to the address bar on mobile for easy access. Currently, opening a new tab requires two clicks - one to open the tab window, and another on the "+" button to open the new tab. This also requires interaction with two different parts of the screen that are far apart from each other (top right vs bottom right), which is hard to do one-handed or in a hurry, especially on larger phones.   I'm a heavy tab user, and the option to have a "+" button directly next to the address bar would make it easier to open a new tab quickly. ... I'm very helpful with AI Chatbot features. It provides alot of AI Agents and some even shortcut like summarize, explain, etc. But I kind of uncomfortable with the summarize page button belom the AI Chatbot area.
