After all this fight about what size the toolbar should be, I thought of a feature that let the user decide their own preference by moving the toolbar with the mouse, up or down, with Icons and tabs adapting to the size chosen. Like when we resize a window and the mouse turns into the resize icon. This eliminates the problems for the users that are unsatisfied with the default densities. After a download completes the "Downloads" still remain in tool bar. We have the option to have it go after all downloads are cleared, but you have to right click and go into an additional menu to "Clear Downloads". I would like the see the behavior more like chrome, clear downloads via the menu, it also clears after you check and opens the menu. ... View more

When you enter a video call in Firefox, it makes this extra mini-toolbar appear. It just has a Firefox logo, a camera icon, and microphone icon ... all of which just do things you can already do using the main toolbar inside Firefox. I imagine the intent is to provide off-screen UI for video calls ... but personally I have no need for this UI: to me it covers up a small portion of other UI I actually need. But what's worse, as per https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1209895 there appears to be no official way to remove it (just a CSS hack)! As a dev myself, I'm sure someone put a lot of work into this mini toolbar ... which is to say someone put a lot of work into making Firefox *worse* for users like me (at least relative to Chrome, which has no such UI) 😞 Ironically, I imagine their intent was the exact opposite: to try to make *better* video call UI. There should be a way in Firefox for when making a bookmark to later not show it in the search/address bar suggestions. Currently, there is only a way to disable bookmarks entirely from being shown as suggestions. But I think it would be more helpful to leave the suggestions on while only hiding specific private bookmarks. ... View more

It'd be helpful to have a new tab button next to the address bar on mobile for easy access. Currently, opening a new tab requires two clicks - one to open the tab window, and another on the "+" button to open the new tab. This also requires interaction with two different parts of the screen that are far apart from each other (top right vs bottom right), which is hard to do one-handed or in a hurry, especially on larger phones.   I'm a heavy tab user, and the option to have a "+" button directly next to the address bar would make it easier to open a new tab quickly. ... I noticed that many people have trouble with the website content jumping down when moving the cursor to the top corner. You often have navigation items close to the upper part of the website, so many people bump accidentally with their mouse cursor in the top border of the screen, triggering the Browser UI popping up and moving everything. I often end up with strange font sizing issues when composing an email where part of my email are in a larger font size than others. To change the font of your email, you can only increase or decrease the font size through the designated buttons or by changing the paragraph format altogether. In my opinion it would be better to just display a size selection dropdown menu, just like pretty much every other application, allowing you to just pick the required font size and apply it to the selected text. ...
