From time to time I have to clean up disk space by deleting hundreds of old (and large) attachments from many mails, while keeping the mails themselves for documentation purposes. I would find it very helpful, if there was a possibility to select multiple mails and to be able to delete their attachments all at once with one command instead of having to delete the attachments of each mail seperately. A great addition for 115 Supernova would be better formatting control when typing an email.  A big plus would be to add a format painter tool like the Microsoft programs provide.  Also instead of just providing enlarge and reduce arrows for font size, the ability to select a font size would be good too. ... This was probably my most loved and is my most dearly missed feature: upon hovering over the bold folder title a snippet message preview wold appear.  Please bring that back! The way I work some emails get automatically filtered into their respective folder but stay "unread". I can then hover over the folder and see the preview. If it is important I would go into the folder and read the message. If of little consequence (like a newsletter that I like to keep but may only read later) I simply Ctrl+Click and mark the folder as "read". That little feature helps my productivity a lot. Also, it is a common standard across multiple DEs, so not dependent on the individual implementation of Gnome, KDE or others. With Extras --> Export you can export all your Thunderbird settings (accounts, addressbooks, mails) to a .zip file to backup it or to move it to another computer. The problem is: if your profile folder is greater than 2GB it is not recommended to do it this way. There is no way to only export all your account settings and passwords, but not all local stored mails. You make a big pitch that you need our donations, and yet I can't setup icloud to send an email the way I can with m y Gmail account. That makes no logical sense at all. I can write a message to millermiey1492@icloud.com and that works fine, only i can't set up the account for it in thunderbird. In long email chains, Thunderbird indents the earlier email and adds a vertical colored line on the left side. In long email chains, the earliest emails get pushed way off to the right and colored lines keep accumulating as shown in the attached image. This continuously indented formatting and color vertical lines makes it harder to read and if printing, it wastes paper. Hi, currently, in a day box display in Thunderbird Calendar mostly only a day number is displayed. It would help a lot, if the full date were displayed for each day (day, month year). There is enough space in each box to place it in. Each time I display the Calendar I have to verify, if the correct weeks are displayed. It always takes some effort to do that.  This problem is sharpened by the fact that, when using a touchpad or a mouse wheel, minimal interaction can offset the calendar by months or even years. I often create calendar events from e-mails with multiple recipients in thunderbird.  Although the "covert to" function will copy the e-mail text to the event description, I have to manually enter the invitees from the e-mail.  It would be great if the "convert to" function would automatically copy the email recipient addresses to invitees in the event.  Thanks! ... I like to keep tabs open for my sent, old_sent (don't ask!) and drafts folders after the default inbox, calendar and address book tabs.  However, I keep forgetting that I am in one of those folder tabs and going to another folder.  I would love to be able to pin these tabs so that when I tried to jump to another folder Thurbird would refuse or open the other folder in a new tab. ... It would be great, if import- and export-functions for importing emails from Apple Mail and msg-files and exporting to .eml or .emlx could be brought back to life or could be newly implemented on Thunderbird for MacOS. Importing emails unfortunately doesn't work anymore. ... View more

Hi, In the display options, folders, I chose "unified". In the general settings, I checked "close the window when deleting". It works when I open a message from one of the accounts but not when I open the message from the "unified folders" tab, which includes all the accounts... Can you make the change ? thanks ...
