I think users are getting annoyed when they come back from private tabs on android to normal tabs and they are on top of list instead bottom or last viewed, i find it's really annoying, in my case im using normal tabs for multiple tabs for everyday use, i go private to avoid YouTube seeds and other sites. Often i go private for all things im using where i don't need any account to browse the page. Then i come back for normal tabs and i must scroll ton of grid to get my last tab(the newest i was using previously). We need scroll or just option to make the new tabs appear at the top of tab grid list. P.s also consider adding some way to store for a moment tabs from private tabs because they dissapear when update is released or app shutdown by incident ... View more

It would be amazing to declutter the tab bar from the (sometimes many) pinned tab we keep, moving them (and only them) to the sidebar (i.e., making them vertical and icon-only, along with history, bookmarks and other sidebar buttons, and keeping the other tabs in the horizontal top bar). Hello As a tab hoarder, two extensions that have been instrumental at keeping my sanity are 1. Papaly bookmark manager due to it's hierarchical folder-like display of bookmarks and ability to drag and drop organize all links. UI is similar to what I recreated: Recreation of papaly interface in Logseq showing expanded and collapsed folders. 2. Tab manager plus to move tabs between windows mentally designated to different topics. Allows drag and drop , multiple tab selection and even distinguishes minimized windows. Only wish it had additional options like hide tabs/windows like in foxytab and also bookmarking. As you notice, both these extensions have UI similar to that offered by firefox view open tabs and if these simple functionalities are added, would make default experience of firefox infinitely better for a user. Thanks to the two extensions I've been much more savvy with links although currently I've had to drop papaly due to unreliable service. In summary, firefox view can benefit from: 1. Show tab groups like collapsible folder in firefox view 2. Have a bookmarks section similar UI to open tabs view 3. Allow multiple selection of tabs across windows and operations on selected tabs. 4. The ability to minimize/close windows and distinguish them, name them or completely hide them! I organize topics on different windows and I want to hide windows I'm not focused on. No, I won't close them or bookmark them for later. 5. Allow drag and drop operation, especially from open tabs/windows/tab groups to bookmarks and also vice-versa! Resuming browsing of compiled links can be as simple as dragging it into a tab group or window where you're already working on something similar. I think this will satisfy the purpose of firefox view being to view everything in a nice visual with powerful interactable UI. I think it would be interesting being able to open new tabs in inverse order. It should be a must have to group tabs with a right klick on the tab (like it's possible in Google Chrome) and  assign the group with a description and a color. Currently, in Firefox, add-on popups are immediately closed when they lose focus. This behavior is inconvenient, especially when opening a Save As dialog causes the popup window to close. For example, if a popup generates a Blob URL and attempts to download it using the Download API, the popup closes, revoking the URL and causing the download to fail. Additionally, any post-download actions become impossible. Furthermore, users might want to save multiple media files via right-click from the popup, but the current behavior prevents them from doing so as the popup closes each time. v136 introduced dynamically-expanding tab sizes on tabs with audio. This can be laggy though, as a page loads and the video/audio starts playing, causing misclicks. The tabs will also then shrink back down eventually once the audio's been idle for awhile, which can be visually distracting. There's some kind of thing that can be done with userchrome.css, but this is a workaround that's not viable for most users. First, thank you Firefox developers for the awesome vertical tabs feature. I think it works pretty well, but I do think some improvements could make the experience a little more polished. 1. When I restart Firefox it keeps the same session/tabs (I have the option enabled in the settings), and they load in a disabled/unloaded state until I click on them. This is nice, however, there's no visual indication of this. It would be nice to have those tabs slightly grayed out or less saturated so the user can tell a given tab is loaded or unloaded. It would also be nice if you could manually unload tabs via right click. 2. Another QoL feature is being able to copy the urls of selected tabs instead of having to do it individually. Once a tab group is made, its mobility is extremely limited. Groups themselves cannot be moved, and we can only move individual tabs from the group's left to the group's right, but not visa versa without adding the tab to the group. ... View more

I'm personally a heavy tab user but have always wondered why there is almost no support for tab grouping or customization in the native tab bar in Firefox. I think making it able to group like Google Chrome does for example or at least giving more access for extensions and add-ons would significantly improve the UI in that regard. ... View more

When using Firefox desktop version, there is this glaring issue when private tabs are opened - if normal tabs window is closed before private tab window, you lose your entire browsing session!! I lost 200+ opened tabs so many times I can't count anymore, why isn't Mozilla fixing this, and who thought it was a good idea? ... View more

I'm often viewing PDFs in Firefox and I use the tab icons to quickly find the right tab, but when a tab contains a PDF it has no icon. This makes it harder for me to find it quickly as I'm looking for the absence of something. I had this idea a long time ago. Sometimes on some sites the sound on the site itself is quite loud and I would not like to reduce the volume in the operating system or the volume of the browser itself. Themes are a major reason why I choose Firefox over other browsers and the addition of vertical tabs is great and very welcome! I get that vertical tabs provide more vertical screen real estate, but I really enjoy themes and was wondering if it would be possible to make the height of the theme area adjustable or taller, so more of the selected theme shows when vertical tabs is switches on? ... Hello Mozilla team. Since I'm using vertical tabs, there is problem with switching cards. The mute button is right on the icon so I often end up muting a tab instead of switching to it (for example YouTube).
