I would like your to rework sync tabs they're great but there is one problem: you can't just browse them, when you'll click on it it'll just open in normal tabs can you make sync tabs like third window where I can browse? (like in normal/anonymous) also I would be glad if different windows from pc would have different sync groups (normal tabs, anonymous and then sync 1(window 1) sync 2(windows 2) and so on I doubt that this is hard to make and it would be really useful ... Currently the fastest option to auto close all tabs is after one day. I think there should be an option to close the entire browsing session as soon as i exit (close) the browser, just like there is an option for that for most chromium based mobile browsers. ... View more

I wish when I opened the mobile app, it wouldn’t automatically open a new tab. A lot of the time I’m using the app for the same sites, so sometimes I’ll end up with ten tabs open of the same site because I want to go to the same place but forget that I already have it open in another tab. The way in which the "Send Page to" was designed is to share tabs with with devices related to your own account, if you want to quickly share a page to a device in your house (local network) that does not have your account but another one is not possible. ... View more

Please add an independent search bar just for searching tabs at the top of vertical tabs as in the add-on, Tab Center Redux. It's so fast and efficient! As you type, it instantly filters your tabs to show only those that match your search text and hides those that do not.   Before anyone says it, yes–I am aware that you can type "%" in the search bar to search tabs you have open. But this bar is faster for quickly filtering tabs you have open in your current group–especially when you have a gazillion tabs open and need to find one without scrolling for ten minutes or stop audio in a tab you can't find. ... In Firefox, I find myself duplicating tabs for various reasons, but it's only possible with the mouse. I like controlling Firefox functions with the keyboard, as it's more convenient for controlling from a remote keyboard than a mouse sometimes (Maybe I'm just weird). I would appreciate a keyboard shortcut for duplicating the current tab, staying on the first tab if possible ("When you open a link, image or media in a new tab, switch to it immediately" is unchecked, but it still switches to the new duplicate). ... Currently the Downloads window/view looks like this: As you can see, it's not very intuitive. Some suggestions: Implement thumbnails or a preview for images/vids Provide an improved file name for downloads, perhaps including the website name instead of randomstring.jpg (avoid duplicate/useless file names) Embed metadata, eg URL of page the image/vid was downloaded from Allow us to save images (or other stuff) directly (instead of Save As, confirm filename, OK) - I used to use an addon for this but it doesn't work anymore Could include some AI for naming images, eg colours or animals could be "guessed" or identified (I admit this is a bit of a wild suggestion!) I have a lot of tabs open. When I open a new tab in Firefox for Android, the new tab is appended at the end of my list of tabs. I have to scroll all the way to the bottom to switch between my most recently used tabs. I think an option to reverse the order of tabs on mobile Firefox would be a good feature. I use private windows for a lot of "throwaway" browsing like ebay rabbitholes and stuff that I don't want cluttering up my history. Unfortunately I've hit Ctrl+Shift+W by accident a few too many times which instantly closes the entire window, without any warning. I suppose this is a handy "boss key" for some people... I'd love a "where did I get this tab?" function that would save the full context of where you opened each tab. So if you're scrolling in facebook and twitter and email and you open 10 tabs from links in various messages, then later when you look at one tab and wonder where you found it, I'd love a browser function that saved a block of text or maybe a screenshot (so it would still work even after you closed the tab the link came from) including both before and after where the link was (at least a sentence either way, maybe up to a whole "message" including the user who sent it, if it's from a site like facebook/twitter/gmail). So then you could ask "where did this tab come from?" and (unless you had originally entered the URL manually) it would show you the message from your friend on facebook/twitter/email with the paragraph or even the whole message that included the link from which you opened the tab, with the link highlighted. That would be so useful! I haven't been able to find a browser extension to do that (though the Tab Origin extension does a very minimal version: it will show you which other tab you opened a tab from--but only if the original tab itself is still open). On mobile when you select to open a link in a new tab, you get a prompt at the bottom to switch to that tab. On desktop there is a setting: "When you open a link, image or media in a new tab, switch to it immediately". I often find myself moving between devices. Accessing synced tabs is fairly easy of Firefox mobile with 3 quite natural steps [press New Tab -> go to synced tabs tab -> select tab to open], but synced tab integration feels archaic on desktop browsers. The best way I've found to access synced tabs is [Reach for your keyboard -> Ctrl-B -> Reach for your mouse -> Click upper left corner drop down -> select Synced Tabs -> select tab to open]. Accessing it using mouse only in the upper right corner menu isn't much better if I'm trying to avoid using the mouse. All other options in the sidebar drop down have hotkeys assigned to them, and the simple fact that the Synced Tabs sidebar does not makes it a hassle to access it. If it had a hotkey, accessing it would be cut down from seven to two steps [<hotkey> -> select tab to open]. Please consider implementing this in order to make working with tabs on different devices more painless. ... View more

I was actually surprised there wasn't an add-on extension for this issue. I even searched and looked around and got nada. I recently took a look at the Firefox View "tab", and I could see the usefulness of a quick history list of closed tabs. However that's all it is since I don't wish to use this alongside my phone. However if this also had a drop-down for my currently open tabs and windows, to more easily visually see what I have open, I could see myself using it much more. Currently there IS a tabs drop down on the top right-side of the window, however as a dropdown the text and icons are smaller, and you overall have less space to work with. This feature makes the drag and dropping of tabs into a new window much quicker and much more responsive. This is a feature that's also in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Hi, I often browse for something and then all of a sudden I have multiple tabs open for something that I need later on, but not now and I would like to move those tabs to a container, so I can hide this container, untill I need that group of tabs again.
