I recently lost 150+ tabs on Mozilla Firefox because I wanted to remove my last 5 minutes of browsing from my history. I have NO IDEA why the tabs I opened 3 months ago would be closed by this, and not be under "Recently Closed Tabs". Or why there's no backup file from 5 minutes ago I can restore from, even if it means creating a files when I "forget 5 minutes", then delete the file after a day or something. I have opened about several hundreds of tabs at firefox. (Maybe it's a bad habit too keep too many tabs.) When I open new tab at right side of the current one, the feature about closing the new tab and show the last one doesn't always work. Hiding tabs (for [X] seconds) instead of closing them would offer substantial time savings and enhance user experience compared to closing them outright. The problem being, if you accidentally close a tab or multiple, re-opening them requires a full page reload. I always permanently have a few tabs open, always the same and in the same order. For me it woud be nice to be able to change the tab's appearence to a certain extent. E.g. changing the title or even the the font or the color. Being able to change the text would tidy up the tabs bar I think. More advanced would be if the settings for the tabs would be saved and automatically be applied for reoccurig links. ... View more

I often have about 3 firefox windows open each with many tabs, and I get in the habbit of having the firefox windows always remain open. And if I go to shut down/restart my pc I'll synchronise via hamburger menu > my account, and it will automatically synchronise. But it doesn't give me confidence that just automatically with a simple 'tick' I can safely shut down my pc and all my pages will be remembered. And I'm pretty sure I'd have synchronised and restarted, but the changes to the browser from 5 minutes before synchronising wouldn't have been saved. So I would like if Firefox explained more-so that it did truly synchronise, and it would be cool to either make the synchronising more reliable or perhaps show me a tree list of the different windows and tabs that it's saved ... Firefox has "Ctrl+Tab cycles through tabs in recently used order" in settings, which is a good feature but its panel displays the tabs titles short. Which I think should be wider. Hello, I miss a separation between "fixed tabs" and "temporary tabs". A solution could be: A dropdown menu like variant, which can either be permanently displayed or automatically expanded by hovering over it. I feel I am lost when I open more than 10 tabs in a browser window. I want to be able to track back when I switch to another tab. For example, when I am working on the 8th tab, I need to switch to 21st tab. Then I want to switch back to 8th again. However, because the tab titles on top are very small, I can not find the tab from which I came. My suggestion is adding a toggle feature to the tabs. Hello Mozilla, Would you PLEASE add <back-tab><forward-tab> "buttons" to Firefox, which would enable backward and forward navigation between tabs accessed, in sequence, within a window with many tabs open. If you hover a tab with a long title the tooltip will have a lot of row showing the whole title, but this doesn't happen on bookmarks/history/links... (in before title tooltips will be cut in next release) ... View more

Currently all startup pages launch as normal tabs, it would be very convinient and reduce a lot of friction if the tabs that will always be needed on launch and always remain open start pinned instead of having to manually pin them on every launch.
