Hi Mozilla team, I'm using Firefox mobile on Android. The old behavior to change the search engine for the current query was: type query into search bar click on another search engine icon (the icons were displayed in a horizontal row below the search bar) If I typed "snickerdoodle recipe", and clicked on the DuckDuckGo icon, it would then show me DuckDuckGo results. Now, the UX/flow is: type query into search bar click search engine drop-down click another search engine icon (shown in the vertical drop-down list) click "enter" on my keyboard Now, I have to type my query, then click three times to get to a results page. When switching to Reader View all images of the article disappear. Not useful when explicative articles tell "It's shown in the picture below. As you can see…", not-so-easy understand news articles without pictures which show how much terrible a quake is, and so on. When an image is included in the text the user must switch to the page, search the picture the text is focusing on (starting from the page's begin because Reader makes text shorter than the article on the webpage text is catched from). ... I found that Firefox for Android cannot download and install add-ons from Github, which means that some of the open-source secure add-ons in Github will not be used, only a small number of add-ons in the Firefox Add-ons Market, but Firefox Windows can download and install add-ons from Github. I found that Firefox for Android doesn't automatically update add-ons, and there isn't a button to update add-ons for users to use. I would like to suggest a cascade form for the bookmarks or if that's the wrong term then that the bookmarks on the Android App should have the function to be accessed more like folders on the email app by samsung by that i mean that lets say we have folder 1, folder 2 and folder 3, each of them has 5 folders inside them, if i want to access folder 3E which is a subfolder of folder3 by the structure we have now i would have to scroll down and have no visual indication that that folder is part of it's parent folder i can one kind of see that it's shiftet a few pixel to the right but this is not a solution when you have many many more folders and the names of real folders dont go like that structure of folder3A folder3B and so on. So i would like there to be a way for folders to get the ability to be cascade opened when i need subfolders of a main folder but if i dont need them i want them to be retractable and not see them all the time when saving a new bookmark or when searching a specifik bookmark through 30+ folders/subfolders. For the opening screen of Firefox on Mobile, add the option to automatically focus on the address bar, and show the keyboard, once the app is launched. The behaviour is similar to opening Firefox Android through the Firefox widget. A suggestion that I believe would greatly benefit Firefox would be the adoption of the technologies of the moment: Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) and Deep Learning. Widely used by AMD and NVIDIA in their high-end GPUs for better graphics/performance in games and other software. Both are focusing more on making intelligent software improvements using AI. 1. One way to use artificial intelligence to improve Firefox's performance would be to apply machine learning algorithms to optimize browser settings, according to the user's profile and preferences.  For example: Firefox could learn which sites a user visits most and preload them in the background to reduce waiting times. Or, Firefox could automatically adjust the “Performance” option in the settings, to balance memory and processor usage, according to user demand. 2. Another way to use A.I. to speed up the browser would be to implement artificial intelligence systems that could assist the browsing engine. For example: Firefox could use artificial neural networks to analyze the source code of web pages, and identify possible errors or inefficiencies that could affect their loading or rendering. Or, you could use genetic algorithms to evolve your own source code, seeking faster and more robust solutions to the problems encountered. ... I would love the ability to pin tabs on my Android. I have a number of tabs always open (news, weather, etc), and then I open all interesting items in new tabs. When done, I close those extra tabs, but often I close one of the "important" tabs by accident. If I could pin them, so that I would have to unpin them before closing, this would not happen. Please consider the inclusion of a context menu with the right mouse click on Android, at least in Android desktop mode. It is very useful for: -Open links in new tab. -Save a file or some image. -When selecting a text, have a menu to copy, search etc. -Similar to how you can do on a PC with Firefox, at least it has those minimal functions. A switch for that like in the desktop-version is very useful. If you have a page eg. newspage with many links, you can open them with "open in new tab". Now you have to watch for that popup and tap on it in time. With " open new tab in foreground" you don't have to watch and react.
