We use Microsoft Exchange for our email, and we probably always will. We host Exchange on our own server and have webmail. This was the reason I was tied to Evolution for so long; Evolution was the only Linux client which supported Exchange Web Services directly in the client. Thankfully, Davmail takes care of the conversion for any email client, and I was able to switch to Thunderbird. Unfortunately, no such software exists for phone operating systems like Android. I don't think any free software app on Android supports Exchange Web Services, so I use webmail in the browser (I really don't like Outlook). On Desktop, many extensions have optional permissions that are not enabled by default but provide additional functionality. For example, SponsorBlock by default can only access data for YouTube and SponsorBlock domains, which is the minimal amount required to work on YouTube. However, an optional permission to access all web data allows functionality on third party frontends like Invidious. On Android, it is impossible to enable such optional permissions, at least through the browser"s GUI (if there's an about:config hack, please tell me. I'm all ears). Thus, extensions like SponsorBlock are soft-locked into default configurations that only work on the official YouTube domain. Idea: add an option to block the annoying "Sign in with Google" prompts that some sites (for example: https://chromestatus.com) use on the mobile versions of Firefox and Firefox Focus. Reasoning: blocking those popups are easier on desktop as extensions like DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials do it automatically and Ublock origin does it but you have to type "||accounts.google.com/gsi/iframe/select$subdocument" (without quotes) into the my filters section, this isn't possible on Firefox Focus as Focus doesn't have any extensions and the "Block other content trackers" feature doesn't block them either. ... A niche but growing phenomenon is cloud gaming. Cloud gaming has giant data centers running a game you want to play and then streams that game to your device. With this it can allow you to use older hardware cloud gaming, Mobile-Android, Desktop, Mobile-iOSthat might not be able to run the game otherwise. This  also allows you to save on storage space on your computer. With all of this  I keep having to go back to Chrome because no cloud streaming service supports playing through the Firefox browser. I hope Firefox can speak to these companies and make it to so their browser can be supported. I hope that the history function of the android app can become better. After a certain amount of time like today and yesterday. The rest is pretty useless like last 7 days. Compared to Chrome and Vivaldi, closing tabs by swiping them away in Fenix feels a lot harder. There should be a prominent indicator for when you are about to close a tab. I often find myself trying to close a tab, but it doesn't get closed because I didn't swipe it far enough. ... View more

When I'm surfing and researching on my phone, I often use the back and forward buttons in other browsers because it's very fast. It would be very practical if you could optionally display a Back(<), Forth(>), Add(☆) and show menu(=) button at the bottom center of the screen. (Only the buttons you need.) Because that's where my finger is when I scroll down and decide whether I want to go back. For me it's a question of efficency where my finger is and how many buttons I have to click. At the moment I have to move to the upper right, click on menu and then click on the back button. (It's a bit distracting for me that the menu bar appears, when I'm scrolling up. On Android, we can click on "Install" to create a progressive web app shortcut on the home screen. However, depending on the website, sometimes they are simply named "Website". Currently, when Adding a Shortcut to the Home Screen (Menu > Add to Home Screen), there is a pop-up opportunity to Rename the Shortcut as desired prior  to dropping it onto the Home Screen.  This helps to keep your Shortcuts orderly and meaningful. However, when Installing a Web App (Menu > Install), the option to Rename the Shortcut does not exist. As it stands now, FireFox/Android grabs the default name from the Web App.  If you have multiple Web Apps from the same Web Site, they all get named the same on your Home Screen.  For example, if you have multiple Dashboards in SharpTools, they all get named "SharpTools.io", thus creating confusion when trying to open the desired  Dashboard with one click. In contrast, Chrome currently offers a pop-up to Rename the Shortcut when both Adding Shortcuts or Installing Web Apps on the Home Screen. I personally miss in Firefox an Autofill feature, as there is in Safari or Chrome. And also autocomplete is supported only partly in Firefox. It is only available for login Data and Credit Card Information, but not for the Standard Information as name or personal address data. Hello, I use the option to sync my bookmarks to my Mozilla account and I use the same bookmarks on the Desktop and Android version of Firefox. What bothers me that when I want to open a bookmark on the Android version of Firefox I have to go through multiple folders to access my Desktop bookmarks (tap "Bookmarks" -> Desktop bookmarks -> Bookmarks Toolbar -> bookmark I'm looking for) every single time I want to open a bookmark. I think it would be great for Firefox to "remember/save" the folder you opened the last bookmark from and the next time you tap "Bookmarks" in the menu, the folder you last were in opens. Of course, when you close Firefox and you open it again and tap "Bookmarks" you would be brought back to the menu it usually opens when you do that. What I want to say is that Firefox "remembers/saves" the folder you last opened a bookmark per session and resets upon closing the app. I know that this is a minor and petty feature, but I would love for it to be implemented in some kind of way. ... Dear Mozilla, I am a SysAdmin that has had to evaluate the Firefox for Android App in the Wake of our recent Mobile Device Management (MDM) project. We are a small-ish Company and had relatively small requirements: Auto-accept ToS, disable pop-ups, disable password manager, disable Mozilla Sign-In, set some default bookmarks. These things reduce support cases & smooth out the ux, while still allowing the user access to features that are mostly user preference and not a risk to the Company. App configuration on Android is Standardised using Managed Configuration(https://developer.android.com/work/managed-configurations). The Firefox Android App does not seem to support this Interface, making it non-viable. We now use Firefox Clear as a simplified solution, as our team prefers to de-Google where viable - but i fear its really just a matter of the C-suite getting annoyed before we have to go chrome(ium) due to a lack of Options. Give an option in enhanced tracking protection to block websites. 1. Block a website with all the urls so example.com but also example.com/food 2. Block website with all the .??? So block example.com but also example.to , example.ru and etc. 3. Built-in automatic block websites that contains viruses or other bad things that can harm you like malicious and phishing websites. I know you have add-ons/extensions to do this but 1. They are not always working. 2. Not everyone knows about those add-ons. 3. Not everyone trust add-ons because they need access to some stuff to let it work. 4. Not everyone wants or are interested in using add-ons at all.
