When you enter a video call in Firefox, it makes this extra mini-toolbar appear. It just has a Firefox logo, a camera icon, and microphone icon ... all of which just do things you can already do using the main toolbar inside Firefox. I imagine the intent is to provide off-screen UI for video calls ... but personally I have no need for this UI: to me it covers up a small portion of other UI I actually need. But what's worse, as per https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1209895 there appears to be no official way to remove it (just a CSS hack)! As a dev myself, I'm sure someone put a lot of work into this mini toolbar ... which is to say someone put a lot of work into making Firefox *worse* for users like me (at least relative to Chrome, which has no such UI) 😞 Ironically, I imagine their intent was the exact opposite: to try to make *better* video call UI. A great feature would be if bookmark menus could be set in different colours, not just individually, but also so that parts of a bookmark menu could have a certain colour. In this way the categories and subcategories of bookmarks would be identified much faster. EXAMPLE: So in these bookmarks menu for instance, "DICTIONARIES" could have one background colour, and "SLANG" another. In windows there is such a function as to set the color of panels, menus (windows colors), I would like the firefox theme to follow it. These colors can change depending on the colors of the wallpaper (well, for example, after auto-change wallpaper), and I would like firefox to change the same way. Well, edge can do this, and many programs do the same. Again, this is not a dark / light theme in the system, but the color of panels, menus, etc. Please, this is very lacking for complete harmony. Please do change confirmation popup to not mistakenly hitting "delete all tab" on Firefox Mobile  It's way close to garbage bin icon, single-tap to continue, "reopen closed tab" only shown temporally, no place to temporally move isolate closed tab, and can't reopen via "open recently closed tab" via history.   There is many option to avoid this; - The blue "Undo closing all tab" popup should last longer - Move popup to fronting the center of the screen - Change confirmation to slide-to-proceed - Make garbage bin directory to temporally store closed tab, or just make "recently closed tab" recognize the tabs that closed by "close all tab" feature - Functionality to Backup bookmark, by using firefox sync, offline file, or introducing mobile addon    Please fix this issue.   Related: iOS: Make the new tab and delete tab icons easier to hit    ... sometimes you just want to have a clean simple toolbar with no icon standing out the standard ones so there's this nice feature called the overflow menu helping achieve that. but there is a problem the overflow menu won't resize to follow or fit a selected extension panel in case you hide them inside it. leading to a lose of information which you have to bring the said extension icon back to the toolbar to get and then re-hide the icon back in the overflow. a bothering process. please do something about it for us who like having a minimal toolbar with no extension icon. thanks. ... I thought it would be so good if it were possible to optionally right justify From and Correspondents columns. Particularly in Dark Mode, which I prefer most of the time as it's easier on the eyes; with lots of emails from various sources, I find it all a bit of a blur. I think this is partly to do with the Font thickness. In Mac OS system dark mode, the font in the columns seems too bold. It's the same in light mode, but bold seems ok with black on white, whereas in dark mode, white text on black background perhaps could be lighter, or less bold for better visual function. But with that out of the way, the crux of the matter is that I think it would be much better, easier and quicker to take in visually, domain sources of emails if the list could optionally be right justified, so that common source domain suffixes could be recognized in a list much easier and clearer. This would mean, of course, truncating from the start of lines, rather than the end, allowing for column width. I know that this is basically what the filter function is for but this implementation would allow for quicker sorting and dealing with new emails in particular. It would just be a lot easier to take in visually. Left justification of various domains can look a bit of a confusing mess. Please say if you also think that this is a good idea. I hope to see this implemented in my favorite email client soon. And I hope that future releases are as backward compatible as possible and as light as practicable. It would be nice to have an option for how to open profiles: one app or a split app for each profile. While I support the idea of full separation between profiles, it's mostly a requirement for data separation, not app separation. It's such a nice idea to have a completely separate set of add-ons, bookmarks, and tabs between profiles, but it's hard to navigate between them. Maybe the Ctrl+number is enough? My use case is customer support. Often, to help our customers, I need to have a completely new profile in my browser, and I need to create it quickly enough and fully destroy it after finishing the interaction with a customer. Sometimes in the middle of an interaction, I need to check an internal docs, and here I need to switch fast to my work profile. P.S. I'm looking for a browser to switch from Arc. Currently, enabling and disabling Website Dark Mode on Firefox iOS requires tapping “…” > Settings > Appearance > Switching Website Dark Mode on/off This could be reduced to fewer steps by placing a quicker access for turning Website Dark Mode on/off right in the “…” menu drawer. ... View more

MacOS and Windows 11 recently got their native context menus with their respective transparent blurred surfaces. On linux, it doesn't seem to be doable from userChrome CSS (transparency is there, but blur is not picked up), and while there is an about:config flag for native GTK context menus, on my machine it's a mess, being a list of every possible option in a context menu. Hi, When using vertical tabs, currently the tabs appear beneath the bookmarks bar. I propose moving the tab bar to the left (or right) of the bookmarks bar.  Motivation: I only show bookmarks on new tabs. When I open a new tab, the appearance of the bookmarks bar causes all of my tabs to vertically move. This is annoying, especially when using both mouse and keyboard shortcuts in tandem. how it currently looks: Mockup of what i would like: Note that it should be to the left, even when it is permanently expanded.
