In Firefox Mobile, the private browsing mode use the purple theme. I think Firefox should change it. Firefox can make it work like other browsers, use dark theme for private browsing. Or Firefox can also make it work like the desktop version light mode theme, only show a small icon to notice you are using private browsing. When viewing open tabs on Firefox Android, the size of the tap target for the X button is small, which results in mis-taps. For example, when trying to tap the X button on a tab, I often accidentally tap on the tab itself, re-opening it instead. A similar issue occurs with the pause button that appears on a tab that is currently playing media. Making the size of the row at the top of a tab slightly taller, and increasing the size of the tap target for the X button, would make it easier to close a tab. ... View more

I do not remember which version introduced the current interface for bookmarking tabs, but as a user who organises their bookmarks in folders, I find it slow and overly complicated and would be interested to hear if other users find the same? The particular issue I have with bookmarking is the "Location" option, which by default only shows the bookmark folder which was last selected, and then the drop down menu only shows the options "Bookmarks Menu, Bookmarks Toolbar, Other bookmarks" and recently used folders. This means that to chose a folder which is not recently used, you have to select "Chose" before your full folder list is displayed. Historically, you could expand the locations list with one click and see the full folder list. I can understand that the current arrangement must have been considered an improvement for some reason, but it would be nice if this behaviour of using recent folders instead of just presenting a folder list could optionally be disabled in the Firefox configuration. ... After updating to 131.0b1, I've got the new tab preview feature and it's a nice feature but there can be some improvements. It should have an option that changes its size (ex: 1, 2 (default), 3, 4, ...) (example in the image). It should also update the preview when the website changes, ex: when there's a video (so make it refresh at the user's FPS / make an option based on FPS refresh: 0/15/30/60/120/165/... fps (for performance reasons)). ...       When you enable "android private window visual refresh" in nimbus expirements you get a flame button on the left side of the toolbar instead of the home button. If you press the flame button all tabs will be closed in private mode. I like this feature but i now have enabled menu redesign and navigation toolbar in secret settings. It looks great but the flame button isn't anywhere to find with those option on so i hope mozilla will add the flame button somewhere on the toolbar to let people use both settings.     ... Using Firefox in Windows environment. It has happened many times that, I wanted to open a new tab by clicking on + sign at the end of last tab in the bar, and instead of opening a new tab, I am ending-up closing the last tab becuase there is no visual difference in last plus + sign and close x sign. More over, the new tab + sign stays hidden until mouse pointer is taken on it, which is another reason, why I am ending-up closing the last tab instead of opening a new tab. Everyone using a browser saves bookmarks, organized by madness or meticulously. Folders have been the best method since they were available. But what do you when you have too many folders or sub folders now? Label their pristine folders with sacrosanct text for extra clutter is unacceptable! Favicons are branded iconography, and in the world of emojis, common words (eg, lock/plane/$/newspaper) have a deep and widely understood meanings. I use a Galaxy Fold 4, and when I launch Firefox with the phone closed, the UI scales correctly to the smaller outer screen, most notably by only showing the URL, home button, options but nothing else. If I open the phone and continue using Firefox, the UI still only shows the reduced toolbar but now stretched to fill the wider screen. The rest of the browser appears to be rendering correctly. This also works in reverse. If I launch Firefox when using the inner screen, the UI adapts by showing home, back, forward, URL, refresh, etc. which is very nice now that I have more screen area to use. But if I close the phone and return to the smaller outer screen, the toolbar does not revert to the reduced version but now shows all the same buttons (back, forward, refresh, etc.) all squished together. This makes the toolbar difficult to use, especially when entering URLs (screenshot attached) If I force quit the app and relaunch, it returns to the correct layout. This works for either screen. It would be great if the app could automatically add/remove the extra toolbar buttons/features when switching between inner and outer screens on foldables. Thank you! ... View more

Brave and i believe a few chromium browsers have the ability to switch to Qt, GTK or their own graphics manager as they please, i believe that should also be the case for firefox as GTK app on Qt looks weird, especially on non-KDE DE's like LXQt. I know that might break a few themes but you can just use like Qt themes or GTK themes on Linux, setting Dark or Light instead of auto already makes a weird GTK + Windows Firefox proprietary hybrid theme. ... Hail all: So, I have a "few" extensions on my Firefox Version 122.0.2365.92 x64, which ... do not fit onto my nifty Extension Bar. And yes, I use them all. These range from picture downloaders over editor-support to a Cookie Editor. All in all, I have, I think, over 60 extensions. If not even more ... . :S (And no, I have no bad case of "Collectoritis, no.  😛 . As said, I actually use them all, frequently (Not at the same time, obviously.  XD ).). So, several just do not make it on my "tiny, tiny bar". And thus, in comes a simple idea: "Extension Drawers". Basically, it are just ... well ... drawers, which can contain a certain amount of Extensions. These could be in the "Customise Extension Bar" menu, a "box" which you place in the Extension Bar, in which you can simply drop Extensions (Or remove by taking one or more out and place it/them elsewhere, be it the Extension Bar, or another "Drawer".), though a simple menu. The "Drawers" could be named (like in Edge, the Tab-Groups (Group-Tabs?), and maybe coloured, for people like me, who cannot read, only write ( XD )? I do not think, it would be a "big add-on", I have been looking for an extension that just might do the tri ... erm, cleaning, more, alas, no such an extension found. And so, I come to you, with a "Drawer" (Or "Box", or "Sock", whichever one prefers to stash their Extensions in, away but still within immediate reach when needed ... .) idea. It just might help others, as well, be it in a similar case like me, or, just to sort things out, or declutter their Extension Bar by dropping less used Extensions in such a "Drawer" (Or "Box, or  "Sock" .... ).  Like the title says it's easier and faster to have a button to swap the languages instead of changing it maunally. Like this if i do english to dutch but then i want dutch to english. I need to change english in a other language like france then i can change dutch in english and then i can change france into dutch. I really like having Firefox Focus Klar as a fast browser for searches and opening singular pages that I don't need to get back to. However, sometimes I find a page that I'd like to send to my computer to read/watch/take further action on. In Firefox it's as easy as tapping Share and then select the sync device you'd like to send the tab to. I'd love to get this implementet for Focus/Klar, as it would make it even easier to use. 🙂 Right now I need to copy or share the url and open it in Firefox, then share to another device and then close the tab in Firefox and Klar.
