When you are dragging a grabbed address trying to store it in specific bookmark folder, you have to drag it parallel to the already open folder description. If not - everything will be closed and you have to start the process again. When you select the already existing bookmark, the open folder procedure doesn't force you to use such restricted angle and after opening folder allows you to move freely to the next one. When I move URL's in the Bookmark Section from one folder to another, I have to be VERY precise with my mouse. I have to be very careful to go only horizontally with my mouse, which slow me down alot, especially if I'm moving several URL's. And working from a folder in a folder. If my mouse leave the folder window for 1 Milisec, it closes right away. If you ask me, that not intuitive. Solution: Keep the displayed window open for a short period of time instead of instantly closing it when the mouse moves in another folder. That would feel alot more natural. ... View more

When entering or editing a bookmark and choosing the location dropdown to select where you want to put it, you are presented with a list -- which can be extensive -- of all your bookmark folders to search through manually. What is desperately needed here is a search function, so that you can quickly find or at least narrow down the choices for the bookmark folder you're looking for. In these fast developing times, the internet changes quickly it's contents. I have a bookmark list with IT topics and nice tipps for every special case. Unfortunately these pages sometimes change, are not available, or are forum pages where the page of the entry changes. In the end, I cannot use the link anymore because I simply don't find the tries any more. So my idea is to have the option to store the complete page behind the bookmark to store only a screenshot of the current visible page Both with exact date/time stamp, to know when you called the page. As an extension I would propose to have a "recent" stack. So if something changes you still have the "old" content. E.g.: you want to update a tree with all offline content to new versions of it and some pages deliver only "404" pages or page content has changed completely. Since the newer versions of Firefox, the gaps between the bookmarks in the dropdown menu are wider, probably for the use with touch devices. I would like to have an option for this distance to see more bookmarks at a time. A good location for this option might be the Customise toolbar page. ... View more

4.5 suggestions. having weighted bookmarks for said domain when searching in the address bar? so login and main homepage for the website can appear first. can be had as local. hide bookmarks or what the so called work profiles and other profiles might do, as in having too many bookmarks for 1 domain can clutter search. like from educational to funny media bookmarks to other types. (hoping that profiles get "fully released" soon). when creating a bookmark tagging words and/or domain name automatically + some assist? like if making a bookmark here it would capture "Mozilla.org, forums, ideas" manually exclude the rest or only include what you need if wanting to use those as tags. maybe using the translate tools to know which other "valid words" are easy to add as tags from the address bar. other stuff like, to be able to add tag group related to selected domain that you bookmarked?
