I have 6 bookmarks in my toolbar that point to the videos page for different YouTube channels. Without grouping, this makes the toolbar much wider than it needs to be, even pushing out some bookmarks to the >> dropdown menu.

A familiar way to organize the toolbar is to have a group feature where I can create a single YouTube (in this example) group, and where all 6 individual bookmarks can be placed.

Doing this provides two benefits:

  1. The toolbar stays organized; I can fit other important bookmarks in the visible space of the toolbar without needing to resort to possibly clicking the >> button.
  2. Finding the link I want becomes quicker/easier because I know exactly where to go to find "that one YouTube link" instead of (potentially) searching the entire list linearly.

You mean a bookmark folder.  And you want to create them by domain.

So something like this

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/bookmarks-domains-toolbar/

Easy enough todo with an addon, the concept can even be expanded to allow it on arbitrary bookmark folders instead of just the toolbar.
