The main reason I still use Safari on iOS / iPadOS is that there are good ad-blocking options available to Safari but not to Firefox.

Firefox Focus seems to have a capable ad-blocker included, but this is not available for the standard Firefox app to use.

It would be great if Firefox included an option to use the Firefox Focus ad-blocker in its settings.

+1 guys

I don’t get why Firefox is capable of blocking ads on Focus but can’t add an option in classic FF on ios.

It sucks, because I used to use Firefox a lot once, but now it seems pointless, yes I can use it on desktop, and a different browser on my iPhone, but then I don't benefit from syncing across devices, and if I try to use Firefox on both I'm at the mercy of ads eating my limit mobile bandwidth on my iPhone... so easiest solution until something changes is just using a different browser on all devices that does support ad blocking. Edge, Safari, Brave, Yandex... plenty to chose from, although I did want to use Firefox.

Please bake ublock origin in firefox for ios. I have been using firefox on my mac, android phones, and windows but the only thing that’s stopping me on using it on ios is ad-block option.

Bundle uBlock Origin into Firefox for iOS the way AdBlock Plus is bundled into mobile Edge on iOS and Android

Firefox Focus is a pointless browser. All of its features should be rolled into regular Firefox. I want ad blocking on iOS in regular Firefox! I don't like Firefox Focus because it is only capable of functioning in Private mode, so I lose my history and such.

Upvote from me as well.
Firefox and Mozilla are the champions of Internet rights and security. As so, this functionality not only should be fast tracked but should have been internally led far before the community started complaining about it.

Firefox and Mozilla are supposed to be the champions of Internet privacy and security. This should not only be fast tracked but I’m shocked this wasn’t already an internally led effort.

The lack of ad-block is the primary reason I don't use Firefox on iOS. Firefox is my browser of choice on all of my devices, but I can't stand using it on my iPhone. This is unfortunate as it also limits the usefulness of my Firefox account.

As @extrablade mentioned, Brave is currently the browser I use on iOS as it blocks ads and allows for background audio play.

Literally just switched back to safari because the ads are unbearable in Firefox. Get it together guys!  I would much rather use ff so my passwords could sync with my desktop
