A while ago, [Google announced](https://developer.chrome.com/blog/desktop-mode) that on select Android tablets with more than 10 inches of screen space and 8 GB of memory, the desktop version of a website would be used by default to improve the user experience by making use of all the screen space. Fenix should adopt this so that users can also take advantage of their whole screen.
In split view configurations, Firefox could then switch over to using a mobile site to keep everything in check.
