Add Edges Drop Feature to Firefox for Seamless File and Note Sync Across Devices

Edge has a feature called Drop, which lets you quickly send files notes, links between devices signed into the same account. It’s built right into the browser and works great for simple cross-device transfers without using email or messaging apps. Firefox could easily do this too using the Firefox Account system and Sync. A lightweight panel in the sidebar (or toolbar) where you can drag files, paste text, or drop links, and have them show up on your other devices. If done the Mozilla way, it could include end-to-end encryption, optional local-only mode, and clear controls for deleting data. It would be a clean, privacy-focused alternative that keeps users inside the Firefox ecosystem 🙂
