Hello Firefox Team,

I’d like to suggest adding a built-in option in Firefox (Stable version) to easily disable WebRTC through the main Settings menu or via a toggle button.

Currently, the only way to disable WebRTC is through about:config by modifying media.peerconnection.enabled, which is not available or accessible in all stable builds, especially on mobile platforms.

Given the growing concerns around IP leaks, privacy and user control, it would be very helpful to have a user-friendly way to turn WebRTC off without diving into advanced configuration.

This would:

Enhance privacy for non-technical users

Reduce reliance on third-party extensions

Be consistent with Firefox’s strong privacy-focused reputation

Thank you for considering this feature! I appreciate the work the team does to make Firefox more private and user-respecting.
