Running a standalone I5 w/ 16gig ram across Xfinity. No other apps open and with only 2 tabs open, this slowed my machine to a virtual halt.Cleared my cache & checked to see nothing was hiding in background - NADA.
Wife has newer I7 w/ same RAM and works remote with zero issues. She uses Chrome (employer standard) but I've stuck w/ Mozilla.
System resources were maxed out on processor and RAM. Restored to a week ago and all is good again.
I've had these issues before on updates but never this bad. I guess the fix is don't update until I absolutely have to.
