Is there a reason why Netflix doesn't play on Firefox?  Come on, now's the hour!

@jerb's issue was ultimately simple: DRM was not enabled, and enabling it resolved it. 🙂

What's the error you're getting? Any specific error message, or is it just loading forever?

Netflix says it cannot proceed with this version of F?irefox.  My version is the latest...

Can you share a screenshot of that message, and the "copy text to clipboard" output from about:support? Feel free to send me the details in private via email to dschubert@mozilla.com if you don't want to have this information public.

Hmm, I think Firefox would normally display an infobar in that situation making it easy to fix the setting, but I haven't tested recently to confirm that. Maybe the bar is only for installing Widevine?

The reporter shared a screenshot that did show the bar. They just missed it. Happens. 🙂
