Before recent updates, if you had a Message Filter where Mark as Read was checked, and a new email came in, it did not flag it as new email. But recent updates now flag it as new email. I would prefer it not do that. That's because some emails I want to accumulate without even knowing they have arrived. Later I might want to view those emails for discounts for instance.
