Please allow users the ability to remove the "List all tabs" drop down... some of us are minimalists that prefer to keep things lean and mean.
Thank you

Hi All, there is a setting for this, but you do have to dig for it:
(A) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button accepting the risk.
More info on about:config: Configuration Editor for Firefox. Please keep in mind that changes made through this back door aren't fully supported and aren't guaranteed to continue working in the future.
(B) In the search box in the page, type or paste browser.tabs.tabmanager.enabled and pause while the list is filtered
(C) Double-click the preference to switch the value from true to false -- this takes effect in new windows and/or after you exit/quit and restart Firefox
Note that when there are enough tabs to cause the left and right scroll buttons to appear, you'll still get the Tab Manager button even with this preference set to false, same as earlier versions of Firefox.

I never have enough tabs open for this to be useful for me, allow users the choice please

Hi!
This option does not exist anymore. How do we hide this button now? I can't think of a situation where I'd ever want this button, and all it's doing is adding unwanted clutter to my browser. Not being able to remove this 'feature' and others like it was the number one reason I switched my browser to Firefox from Chrome. If you're heading the same way they are in terms of not allowing me to make my browser look and feel the way I want it to, I'll have to find a new browser. I'm not really interested in learning how to set up a custom CSS profile just to get access to basic options that have no excuse to not be options by default.

Hello
Firefox release notes https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/releases
Calendar https://whattrainisitnow.com/calendar
Configuration Editor for Firefox https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/about-config-editor-firefox
Adding the preference browser.tabs.tabmanager.enabled, is useless
Behind a preference there is a script, no corresponding script, so the preference doesn't work
Under Firefox release (currently 131.0) browser.tabs.tabmanager.enabled, no longer exists
Under Firefox esr 115 (currently 128.3.0esr) browser.tabs.tabmanager.enabled, exists and works

There is no need to hide such trivial settings in about:config.
