When I open something, I mean in a window. Web link, email link, settings or patch notes after update. So why do I keep getting incomplete page headings due to this screen area wasting idiocy?

Stop trying to impose tabs, remove windows for dummies. I don't want to waste space, so tabs don't give me anything a window cant do better. It doesn't advertise an anti-feature, unauthorised use of tabbed browsing only reminds me why I will never chose tabs.

My device, so my choice not tab loving idiots choice. Something that useless should be explicitly chosen by platform users.

Firefox has had tabs since version 1.0 nearly 20 years ago. If you do not want to see the Tabs bar, you can create a userChrome.css file with rules to hide it. See: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1417387
