Could you describe in more detail what you mean by "hidden tabs"? Is the problem:

tabs scroll off the tab bar when too many tabs are open

one of your add-ons has moved some tabs to a hidden tabs category (the Tab Manager drop-down, which you open using the List all tabs button at the right end of the tab bar, will have a hidden tabs section in this situation)

Firefox updates broke your userChrome.css file rules for moving the tab bar and now all the tabs stack in one position or only show when they are active

something else

Fire was my preferred browser--not any more. The old system without hidden tabs worked much better for me. If this new tab system is permanent, guess I will go with Avast or Chrome instead.
