topic when Firefox has to be ForceQuit several times before being used... in Discussions

When I boot up my computer, I open Firefox hoping to use it rapidly. 80% of the time I have to 'ForceQuit' it several times, more like 4 times before it can open and I can actaully use it. On the tabs there are 'flicking' blue dots that take ages before stopping and the sites can open and seen. Why is FF so slow and unuseable and is it the OS Monterey that is slowing FF down ?
