I have reluctantly given up on Firefox for Windows and switched to Chrome because Firefox starts a ridiculous number of tasks (often more than 40) and eats up all the memory in my system, slowing it to a crawl. I often have to kill it with Task Manager once it gets over 4GB of memory consumption. And it doesn't take a ridiculous number of tabs to hit that level. I keep it up to date - currently on version 107.</P><P>Has anyone else seen this?
