I’ve had enough! This is the third time Firefox has completely vanished! No more bookmarks, no saved passwords, no history of my recent windows—everything is gone, as if it were a fresh installation! Even my JSON backups no longer work!
I’m fed up with having to reconfigure everything every single time Firefox decides to change its layout!
It’s just like Windows 11—with every update, you have to spend hours figuring out a new system that’s supposedly designed to make things easier, but instead just makes them more complicated!
That’s it; I’m switching to Google. I don’t particularly like it, but at least it’s "stable."

Regards,

Nah, we're now getting the Slop shoved down our throats on the ESR version too.

You won't get the new "Nova" UI on the ESR until around late September next-year, when the 153 ESR goes end-of-life.

If you mean the AI features, they can all be turned-off easily. But if that's not enough for you then, sure: you have two main choices. Of the major browsers, only Vivaldi have committed to no AI, so maybe move there. Or to stay "within the Firefox hold", look into a "fork", such as Basilisk, Floorp, Librewolf, Pale Moon, Waterfox or Zen.

Just be aware forks are often made by small teams and can have delays in how-fast security issues get patches added, so best to do a bit of digging into each one before moving.
