First off it took icons off my toolbar, including my bookmarks. That is where I wanted them not on a sidebar. I had my bookmarks set up to make things easy for me. Changed that set up too. It also auto changed the appearance. Is Firefox changing to chrome now? If I wanted that I'd just use Brave. One of the reasons I use Firefox is because it's not chrome. I would think there would be an easy way to roll back to the previous version but there is not. I'm wondering if it's time to look for something else.
