Why do I have to communicate with a company via forum? Since when is that the official support/feedback scheme. Cool I can post my issue for anyone who disagrees with me to flame until I inevitably get told my concern isn't important. How about you get to a non-public support method?

Now my issue. Why does the UI keep changing. I know it's not like it's happening every day or anything but come on. I'm using the browser and like the way it looks and functions. No issues at all, just good old fashioned quality. Then somehow the UI needs to change so it looks like something a child might scribble with crayons? Can you stop believing the UI's appearance is making your browser better? Why are you making ANY UPDATES that are not security based? Is something broken on the back end that needs a new UI to fix?

So...let's have it. Everyone who didn't get hugged as a child, let's all call me a moron while I wait for...what was it? Oh yeah, no help.

Many organisations now don't provide e-mail or phone support, and the like. Could be worse... some small apps only have a public Discord. 💀

To reverse the recent changes: in the web-address bar type about:config -> press ENTER -> accept any warning, and continue -> search for nova -> change the line "browser.nova.enable" to "false"

Longer-term, you could look into a "fork" of Firefox committed to retaining a particular UI you prefer

I’ve had this happen with software I use too. You finally get used to where everything is, stop thinking about the interface, and then an update moves three things around for absolutely no reason.

The worst part is when nothing was actually wrong with the old version. I’d honestly take a boring UI that stays consistent over a “fresh” redesign every few months.

Oh many companies do it? Must be the correct way then.

The nova thing in about:config does not revert everything. It still looks wrong. Thanks though
