topic Background video playback stopped working after the latest Firefox update in Discussions

After updating Firefox to the latest version, I suddenly lost the ability to play videos in the background.

Previously, I could start playing a video and then switch to another tab or put Firefox in the background, and the video would continue playing normally.

However, after the update, the video immediately stops playing whenever I switch to another tab or send Firefox to the background.

What makes this even more frustrating is that Firefox doesn't seem to provide any background playback control or button that would allow me to resume playback in the background.

I also can't roll back to the previous Firefox version, so I'm basically stuck with this behavior.

Is this an intentional change, or is it a bug? If it is intentional, is there any way to restore background video playback?

This is really frustrating because background playback is an important feature for me, especially when listening to videos while using other apps or doing something else.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
