When I open a new tab, default input is the URL bar, which is good, but if I like to switch to the separated search bar, earlier I have to press just one TAB. Now some strange design desicion the search engine switch control is palced in between URL and search bars. Now this is breaks the usual "press TAB+input the search text+press ENTER" process, so I usually end up in "what the heck happened situation???"
This keyboard pattern is in my muscle memory, I can use it half handed in a dark fores while running away from werewolfes and try to avoid striking lightnings.

I doubt if I would alone this problem. Not the werewolves, but the tab order of controls.

So is there any way to fix this awkwardly placed search engine control and remove from the position between URL bar and search input?

Add the Search bar to your Firefox toolbar

You can try
1 - Go to configuration editor https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/about-config-editor-firefox
2 - Enter a search term browser.search.widget.new
You can double-click on the preference to set the value to false
