Firefox is already known for respecting user privacy, but I believe it could become an even stronger alternative to Brave by making more privacy features available out of the box.

1. Enable Ad and Tracker Blocking by Default

Firefox should block ads and trackers by default, similar to Brave.

This would:

Improve privacy for all users from the moment they install Firefox.

Reduce the need for extensions like uBlock Origin for most users.

Provide a faster, cleaner, and more secure browsing experience by default.

2. Develop a Privacy-Focused AI Assistant

Firefox could introduce a built-in AI assistant that prioritizes user privacy.

With the user's permission, the assistant should be able to understand the context of currently open tabs to provide:

Better summaries of web pages.

Comparisons between multiple pages.

More accurate answers based on the user's browsing context.

A privacy-first AI experience, similar in capability to Brave's AI features while keeping user data protected, would be a valuable addition.

3. Offer a Free VPN Plan

Mozilla could offer a free VPN plan with approximately 50 GB of data per month for all Firefox users.

This would:

Encourage more people to use privacy tools.

Introduce users to Mozilla VPN.

Strengthen Firefox's position against competing browsers.

It would also be great if this free VPN service were made available in India, where it is currently unavailable.

Closing Thoughts

These improvements would make Firefox a more complete privacy-focused browser and encourage more users to switch from browsers that collect more user data.

Thank you for considering these suggestions. I appreciate Mozilla's continued commitment to an open, independent, and privacy-respecting web.
