Sync multiple new-type profiles to same Mozilla account on same computer

Hi Firefox team,

I just tried to use the relatively new Profiles manager in the way I think you intend, to create separate profiles for personal, work and volunteering. I tried to sign in to my Mozilla account on the new profiles but it wouldn't let me, saying that the Mozilla account can only be signed into from one profile on one computer.

With old-style profiles, all profiles can be signed into the same Mozilla account. Why restrict this with the new profiles? It doesn't make any sense to me.

So, for now, I'm not going to be using the new profiles. Without account syncing it will just be tedious and frustrating for me to use.
