I even tried it in this text edit box for typing this post and it still only selects the current line, not the rest of the paragraph. I am not sure if there is a setting for this, but other browsers do not do this. It is rather annoying when trying to edit text on certain websites. I am unsure if this is an intended behavior or not. But Firefox is the only application on my computer that does this.
