My end of using Firefox, and I'm so sad of it

Hello there,

I'm Eric from France and I think I use firefox since the very begining.

However, I'm leaving firefox today.

The reason is not about firefox but about main corporate companies like Microsoft, Meta, Alphabet...

Everytime I try to use software or tools, I have bad behaviours, bugs and even account being spoiled.

My meta account cannot be used anymore because I tried to use meta business for ads and I cannot recover it. Support replyed : "don't use firefox, period" (?!!!).

My clipchamp account doesn't show all features when using firefox. AI confirmed this.

My google account doesn't work with firefox, same with support.

Everywhere those majors companies are disabling compatibility with firefox and they do it purposedly.

I have a business activity to run and cannot stand this any longer.

So with very high regrets for that because I believe in free software, I have to quit.

The battle has changed now they have support from potus administration. They just take over the world and i'm to small and to week to fight. It's a global fight for freedom.

I can just give you my support and hopes for the long term for we have to go through very bad times.

i I wish the developers of Firefox didn't have to **bleep** this project up. It was such a beautiful thing, and they just had to mess it up.

My end of using Firefox started back in 2019.

It is very clear to me that "Stop using Firefox, together we can help the internet."

I’ve used Firefox too and most Google/Meta services still work fine for me, so it might be more of a compatibility or account issue. Sometimes TiChop switching browsers or clearing configs can fix a lot of these bugs. Hope things get better for you and your work gets back on track.

I worked for Mozilla for nearly 6 years, and bugs are not the reason I stopped using Firefox.
Stop using Firefox, together we make the world better!!

@Japanesesandman : it's not the fault of Firefox if some websites don't wish to support it (though can't say I'm ever having issues as frequently as you seem to with it).

Try using this extension on such sites, and Firefox will lie to them and pretend to be Google Chrome:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/chrome-mask/

Also check under Menu > Settings > Privacy and Security that "Fix major site issues" is enabled

And remember any ad-blocker or script-blocker extensions you might add can break sites.
These can be found under Menu > Extensions and Themes

In France, we call this attitude "to **bleep** in others boots". You come to mozilla to criticize, morover without any explanation. Just go to hell or at least away, those pages are for Firefox lovers, including the deceives ones like me.

I've liked Netscape and Firefox for quite a long time.
It's a long journey that ends after seeing what's truly inside.
You are deceived by the appearance, and I am deceived by their false spirit.

However, if you're going to tell others to go to hell, you should probably lead the way.
